Woodbine Mansion has a long history of residential tradition in Round Rock, Texas. The Nelson family, composed of Andrew J. and Hedwig Nelson, settled in this location after moving to the Lone Star State from Sweden. They employed the talented local duo of the Page Brothers to build an elaborate, Victorian-style mansion. These siblings used innovative strategies involving salvaging building materials from other renovation projects in the Austin area. The home was fully realized in the year 1900 after a five-year construction period. In 1931 the mansion saw a remodel, transforming it with the nationally popular Greek Revival style. At that time, this aesthetic was a rarity in Round Rock. The Crier-Goodrich family bought the house at the beginning of the 1960s and officially changed the name of the mansion to Woodbine. There are many original 19th century furnishings that have been preserved, presenting a historic allure for visitors and guests. The mansion joined the ranks of Texas Historic Landmarks in 1973 and attained its newest inhabitants, Robert and Olga Levin, in 2018. Robert and Olga collaborate with their talented event-coordinating daughter, Becky Levin Navarro. With her, they curate fairy tale occasions for clients who choose to host at Woodbine Mansion time and time again.

The Perfect Venue
I am so happy that we chose to have our wedding at Woodbine Mansion. The pictures just simply do not do this venue justice! From the moment we walked in I fell in love. Every bit of this venue is absolutely breathtaking. We had a small wedding due to COVID and although it was not in my original plan to have a small wedding Woodbine Mansion turned out to be the PERFECT space for it. Walking around the venue I did wish I could've had my wedding there...and may just have a reception there next year after COVID. Woodbine is truly the perfect venue for a small or big wedding. Maddie was such a pleasure to work with and the experience was easy and stress free from start to finish. I highly recommend Woodbine Mansion to future brides.Sent on 09/28/2020

Wonderful Woodbine Mansion
Having our wedding at Woodbine Mansion was beyond wonderful. Our original venue cancelled one week, yes, one week before the wedding. Our photographer sent out an “SOS” out to colleagues in the industry and we ended up touring Woodbine a day or so later. It was stunning!!! The owners and Maddie (awesome!!)helped us get back on track to have our wedding. The Mansion and it’s grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. Plenty of opportunities for gorgeous pictures. There are so many options to layout the event too. We went with ceremony at the gazebo, dinner on the lawn, and party in the ballroom. Woodbine Mansion owners and Maddie, thank you so much for making our day so great!Sent on 05/21/2020

Charm, Beauty, Special
Woodbine Mansion has it all! My goodness, this space. I do hope if you are considering this venue, you go see it in person. It is breathtaking! I am a local Austin Wedding Planner, and I always send my couples to Woodbine with such confidence.Sent on 03/18/2020
1) This is a family run venue. This makes it unique in a lot of ways, but most importantly, you will feel like family after you have your event here. The venue manager, Maddie is also amazing! She is responsive, warm, and really helpful throughout the entire planning process. She also helps guide you with creative ideas about the space, event flow, other vendors, and how to make your event special. Maddie and the venue owners have gone above and beyond for me many times.
2) Y'all - this place! You have to see it to believe it. Each tiny detail is placed with such care, down to the candelabras and the doorknobs. Becky, one of the venue owners, has literally thought of everything when it comes to this venue. The upstairs, which is reserved for the bride, groom and wedding party, is so detailed and beautiful! Each room in the mansion is different, yet cohesive. Your guests will be turning around every corner in awe!
There are also a lot of logistical things I really love about the space. There is turf installed on the big lawn, but you really wouldn't know it! This helps the space look clean and green all year round, and helps with not needing extras like flooring. There are A LOT of bathrooms. I know that may sound silly, but having a lot of bathrooms is KEY to guest experience. Woodbine also has a very flexible space over all - a lot of different places for ceremony and cocktail hour! So many different ways to design and layout this space.
I highly recommend booking your wedding or event here! It's just a straight, short shot from downtown, extremely convenient for all your guests!
Woodbine Mansion's reply:Thank you for the kind words Monica!! We absolutely love working with you at Woodbine and we're looking forward to our upcoming events with you and the Bird Dog Wedding team.
