Wonder Valley Ranch Resort is an inclusive wedding venue nestled in the scenic Sierra Foothills of Sanger, CA, just east of Fresno. Our team will handle the details regarding your ceremony and reception. From tables and chairs to linens, on-site catering, and so much more, this is your dream wedding location. A wedding facility Coordinator is included to assist you with all of the facility planning details. Overnight accommodations are available to you and your guests. Some of our wedding packages include a room for the wedding couple on the night of your wedding. It is our goal to make sure your wedding experience, from the planning process to saying “I do”, is enjoyable and stress-free.

Facilities and Capacity

Wonder Valley Ranch Resort has three event spaces, which can accommodate up to 300 guests. The wedding ceremony can be hosted outdoors in our Lakeview Wedding Garden, surrounded by flowers in vibrant colors and offering a stunning view of the lake. The garden also has a beautiful stamped cobblestone walkway. The wedding party enters the garden through our white balustrade arbor. The Legacy Lodge Reception Hall is suited for large receptions with double glass doors and windows that overlook the lake and ceremony garden. Our venue provides overnight accommodations with views of the foothills. The venue also has spacious wedding party day rooms for preparation before walking down the aisle.

Wonder Valley Ranch Resort provides various services for wedding events such as bridal showers, engagement parties, ceremonies, and receptions. Our all-inclusive wedding venue includes a Wedding Facility Coordinator to help couples with planning all the details of their events. We also offer wedding packages, which can be customized based on couples’ requirements and budgets. Our services include:

    I reached out to the resort over 2 years ago when we started looking for venues. Ultimately, I came back to Wonder Valley and decided to schedule a consultation. We chose Wonder Valley because its not just a wedding venue, it’s a family owned resort, maintained year-a-round for different camps and events. It is a place that will be available to us for years to come, we can spend Valentines Day here, or even our anniversary! There are tons of beautiful venues, but nothing that felt this personable. We met with Carrie during our consultation and we were lucky enough to have her as our day of coordinator and our go to girl every day leading up to our Wedding day.
    Carrie is a wonderful person! She is calm, collected, has great ideas, and has great resource recommendations for additional wants/needs.
    Carrie and her staff communicated well with us, and made sure we were always on track with updated invoices, arranging the food tasting, and planning meeting. They were available to us when we had additional questions and we were also able to visit the venue if we wanted, we just had to call and let them know we were coming.
    *In addition to this venue, you will need to hire a florist, photographer, and DJ.

    We chose to have our rehearsal dinner catered by the resort and we also stayed the night before the wedding at the resort. I felt this helped us all unwind and get those nerves out before the big day.
    Dinner was good, they had the room decorated for us, and made more than enough food! After dinner, we were able to walk around the resort, check out the reception hall, and the boys even managed to fish in the pond. I met Greg who was available all night for any needs or concerns we had. There were gazebos and nice patio furniture in front of our rooms, we were outside laughing and having a great time until 1 in the morning! From where we were sitting, we could Greg hard at work, setting up the reception hall and making sure everything was in place! I thought this was so cool and it helped make the wedding day less rushed.

    The day of our wedding, the girls and I headed to the bridal suite. It was EARLY and we all stayed up way too late. We met Johnny who opened the room for us, apparently he could tell we were tired because he brought us fresh coffee and creamer! LOL He was very kind and happy to help. He also provided the iced water, and ice for our bottles.
    Later in the morning Carrie showed up and was ready to help in anyway she could. She made sure the additional patio furniture we ordered, was where we wanted it, she made sure the florist had what they needed, checked in with the cook, and made sure our sentimental items were in their places as well. Her attitude is always on point, she’s great! Carrie realized we did not receive our petals for the flower girl to use so she and another employee picked white petals off the roses in the garden. Which was appreciated because I had already accepted the fact that we didn’t have other options. As you can tell, hiring an additional coordinator isn’t necessary. Every step of the way was calm and enjoyable because every staff member had our backs.

    The reception hall is big enough for a lot of guests, and no one feels crowded. Our food was really good, the chef made sure the meat was cooked to our request. (Before the wedding you will have a food tasting, this includes appetizer choices, salads, sides, and main course options). The bar was full of options and fairly priced. We chose to do a cash bar to save some money. Our bartended made THE BEST watermelon mojito, highly recommend requesting it. We had a great time on the dance floor and even got a dance out of one of the servers, she kept in classy and fun. The only thing I recommend is paying extra to have the night last longer. Also, delicate a family member or wedding party person to clean out the bridal suite for you, so you aren’t ending your night with figuring out who’s stuff is who’s.
    At the end of the night we stayed in the newlywed cabin! The cabin is pretty small but it is cute and away from the regular hotel rooms.

    We wrapped up our wedding weekend the next morning by meeting all of our family and friends, who stayed the night, at the breakfast lodge. Breakfast was buffet style and was everything we needed after a party night.

    As you can see, I could go on and on about this place LOL
    I truly value meaning full relationships and memories and Wonder Valley did that for us. It’s nice to know that this beautiful venue will always be there for us if we want to take a walk down memory lane, or just spend the night away from our busy lives.

    Simply amazing

    Wonder valley resort was the most perfect venue for our wedding. The people that worked with us were so accommodating, professional, and attentive. They made our wedding into a true fairy tale experience. We could not have asked for anything more. From start to finish they took the stress off us. Made every accommodations we needed. We are very thankful for all of the staff at Wonder Valley Resort.

    Wedding was better than I could have imagined

    LOVED working with Wonder Valley. Carrie made sure our wedding was perfect and I didn’t have to stress about anything. Had so much fun and the pictures turned out so gorgeous! So glad we went with Wonder Valley.
