Wise Events & Design is a luxury wedding & event planning company founded by Monique Wisdom, a driven and dedicated professional with a diverse background in real estate and event planning. Monique brings her unique combination of skills, experience, and passion to every wedding she plans, creating unforgettable experiences that exceeds her client expectations.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Monique has always had a love for creativity and design. After graduating from University of Texas with a degree in Business Marketing she begin to work in the real estate industry and quickly realized her passion for wedding & event planning. She honored her skills for planning events for friends and family and eventually decided to launch Wise Events & Design in 2017 and turned her passion into a full time career.

Monique's approach to wedding planning is rooted in her commitment to exceptional service, attention to detail, and personalized experiences. She works closely with her clients to understand their vision and preference, and collaborates with preferred vendors and industry partners to bring that vision to life.

In addition to her work in the wedding industry, Monique also serves on the Board of Directors for The Association of Wedding Planners, Brown Girl Society and The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Monique is also a living kidney donor, having donated her kidney to her mom in 2008. She is a proud advocate for organ donations and strives to use her platform to raise awareness and inspire others to make a difference in the community.

Monique currently resides in Houston Texas, where she is married to her high school sweetheart Bobby and they enjoy traveling and spending time with their English bulldog James "Fitz" Gerald.
