The farm utilizes french intensive gardening techniques on permanent raised garden beds. We refuse use of GMO seeds. No herbicides or pesticides or preservatives of any kind are used. All flowers are from organic seed stock or heirloom flowers sources. We grow perennials, annuals, and biennials. We also incorporate native vegetation growing on the farm and herbs etc if desired in arrangements. We grow all the flowers we provide for your event. Willoway Farm is committed to growing our crops with minimal earth impact. We hand plant, hand hoe, companion plant, cover crop, grow beneficial insect habitats. We even grow clover in footpaths to mimimize weeds while fixating nitrogen in the near by garden beds. We are a diversified farm including permaculture strategies in our plantings. In addition to our 1.5 acre flowers and vegetable garden we have a young 100 tree apple orchard with trees we grafted over the past few springs, an acre of native woodland, we raise Finn sheep and layer chickens. We utilize all items raised and grown on farm for fertility and beneficial herbal teas for a vigorous healthy garden.
