We could not be more thrilled by our collaboration with William and his team for our Cape Cod wedding. We still keep hearing from all our guests about how extraordinary the food was. We had a particular idea about a lobster-centered dish that wasn't on the standard menus - and he concocted one of the most creative, amazing dishes we've ever had! And folks can't stop raving about our raw bar. Our entire process of working together was lovely, and we can't endorse William and his team enough. Simply amazing!

From the moment we started working with William and his team, we knew we were in great hands. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, but what truly set them apart was William’s personalized approach. He took the time to understand our vision, walking us through different styles of food service before we ultimately decided on a buffet but, with a lovely tomato and mozzarella salad at every seat —perfect for our lively and social group!

On the day of our wedding, his team exceeded every expectation. The staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly kind. One of the best touches? Having a dedicated team member who made sure my husband and I actually got to eat and enjoy delicious beverages amidst the whirlwind of the day!

What we loved most was that William only takes on one event at a time, meaning our wedding had his full attention. It was clear that he and his team were genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. And thanks to them, it truly was.

We loved working with William and his team for our wedding at Elm Bank! He made us feel so supported and relaxed, and we really felt like he got our vision and could help us see it through. Food was very important to us (he was the first vendor we booked after securing our date!) and we loved that he took the time to get to know us and could provide us such great guidance to make our semi-formed hopes into a full fledged reality. Also, who can say that the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding was at their own? We so appreciated him and his staff’s commitment to making sure we ate and drank and were cared for at every step of the way. William is down to earth and was just a delight to work with at every step of the way.

We became huge fans of William and his entire team after attending a wedding that his team catered. Fast forward two years, when we got engaged, we chose the date of the wedding based on when William was free. He's THAT good.

Our experience working with William was fantastic from start to finish. He takes a personalized approach and invests his time, energy, creativity, and incredible skill into every detail of the evening - and he does so with the utmost professionalism. We had a 240-person tented wedding (in hurricane-like conditions...more on that below), and William and his team provided a level of service and quality you might expect from a 20-person dinner party. From the excellent, non-traditional food (we heard MANY people say it was the best wedding food they'd ever had) to the attentive (but not stuffy) service, William made our wedding truly special!

We got married on the coast in Marion, MA in September on the same day that a hurricane was projected to breeze by the Cape, putting our outdoor wedding plans in flux. When we weren't even sure we could hold an outdoor tented ceremony, William assured us that his team would show up wherever we decided to hold the reception (and in whatever conditions). I cannot overstate our appreciation for William's attitude throughout the week leading up to the event.

In summary, hiring William was one of the top decisions we made. His team made an excellent Italian (with some East Coast touches) family-style meal that we simply cannot stop raving about!

We can't say enough good things about William and his team. From the first time we spoke with him through our wedding day, everything was terrific. William is organized, friendly, and great to work with. He was conscious of our budget and preferences in shaping the menu. And on the wedding day, the food was incredible! We got so many compliments on it, especially the appetizers. William's team of servers were also terrific in setting up the venue, and went above and beyond in working with the venue staff to help handle a health incident involving an elderly guest. We can not recommend William and Julie highly enough!!

We both work in food, so finding a caterer that would work with us on very specific menu requests, highlight local produce, and wow our guests might not have been easy but William made menu planning for our wedding a dream. We had a lot of fun working on our menu together, and our tasting with him was one of the most memorable parts of our planning process! We served plated salads but did the rest family style and our guests kept raving that this was the best "wedding food" they'd ever had - probably because it was intentionally not classic wedding food but more a celebration of ingredients and the comfort of eating on Cape Cod. If you work with him you won't regret the cheesy potatoes as your side dish, the amazing bread from Iggy's, the mini lobster rolls during cocktail hour (the best we had on the Cape all week!)...really anything William makes! He also worked with us on a custom raw bar that combined the best of the Mid-Atlantic (where we live) and Cape Cod. Thank you William for bringing our dream menu to life.

I cannot recommend William Ference Catering highly enough. William is friendly, easy to work with, and he and his team make outstanding food and drinks! When my (now) wife and I first met with William, we told him we didn't want to have traditional wedding food and then told him our food preferences. A few days later, he proposed a perfect menu - somehow, it exactly what we wanted even though we never could have thought of it ourselves. On the wedding day, William and his team did a brilliant job - the service was impeccable, and we were able to just enjoy our special day and have delicious food and drinks throughout with our guests. We (and several of our guests) thought the catering was the best we've ever had at a wedding. If/when I need a caterer in the future, I'd work with William and his team again in a heartbeat!

William and his team are the absolute best!!! Throughout the entire two years we were planning our wedding, William was awesome - he was super mindful of our budget, answered all of our questions, and was so much fun to do our tasting with. :) The food on our wedding day was PHENOMENAL, which was super important to my husband and I since we're big foodies. His team also made us feel so taken care of throughout our whole wedding day, and even went out of their way to bring us some plates of food while we were taking our photos during cocktail hour since we hadn't eaten anything in a while. Absolutely can't recommend them enough!

William and his entire staff were the most professional and friendly people that I've ever seen at a wedding. The servers had huge smiles on their faces, and made our guests feel like they were at a very special event. The servers WANTED to be there and you could tell that they really enjoy their job. A lot of our guests commented on the staff and let us know how professional and friendly they were. And William was SO easy to work with. He made our vision come alive, not only by putting out the most delicious food we've probably ever had at a wedding, but by creating an atmosphere that made our guests feel special and excited. We had 2 or 3 video chats with William to go over the food selection, food presentation preferences, and food timing. He not only looked at our example pictures and executed them perfectly, but he gave us a lot of "thinking outside the box" ideas that we hadn't thought of before. He nailed the timing of the passed apps, the before-dinner chowder, and the plated entrees. We gave him our rough itinerary/timing of the first dance, speeches, etc. and he took it and ran with it. He coordinated everything with our venue and the band, and he made our lives a lot less stressful. Now, the FOOD!!!! We, and our guests, were BLOWN AWAY. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!! Everyone that we talked to after the wedding commented on how delicious the passed apps and entrees were. We even heard several people say it was the best food that they've ever had at a wedding. I can't say enough great things about William, his team, and his food. Please don't hesitate to hire him. He is the best in the business. We never for a second regretted hiring him.

Thank you William for making our wedding absolutely amazing. From beginning to end, he was so wonderful to work with and paid such close to attention to every single detail of our wedding. Aside from that, his food is absolutely incredible. All of our guests still have not stopped talking about it - the best food at a wedding EVER. That was something that was very important to us, that our guests enjoyed the food and William knocked it out of the park. He really made the wedding more of an experience with the carved for you meats, and sauteed pasta right in front of the guests. His staff was also so great, paid attention to every detail and made my husband and I feel so special. William we love you!!
