Weylin is a historic venue in Brooklyn, New York, ideal for hosting weddings and other special events. Constructed in 1875 by George B. Facilities and Capacity
With multiple spaces to choose from, Weylin can accommodate events of nearly all types and sizes. The Main Rotunda can host up to 600 guests, who can dance the night away under the 110-foot dome ceiling. You will be 'wowed' by the original frescoes, which feature carefully preserved monogrammed oval windows and a solid gold leaf trip. In the Oculus Dome, which can fit up to 400 people, your guests will notice nodes to the pantheon. The coffered ceiling, mosaic marble floors, and limestone walls create an elegant ambiance. Another popular option is the two domed rooms joined by a wide center archway. These spaces can be divided for intimate gatherings or in conjunction to accommodate up to 1000 partygoers. For a more industrial vibe, the Gallery is a great option with its rustic tilework and exposed brick vaulted ceilings. The connected speakeasy-style bar space can be used for a more dynamic celebration. On its own, the 1875 bar is an excellent choice for a soiree. This prohibition-era-inspired setting featured wood flooring, an aged tin ceiling, an antique vault, and a 1920s wood-carved hotel bar. Though it's a reminder of times in the past, you can enjoy modern technology like a sound booth and state-of-the-art sound system. There are also a number of smaller rooms that are ideal for intimate gatherings of as small as 10 guests.

Perfect Venue with NYC Charm
It has two domes, and the night moved between them. The Jewish ceremony, cocktails, and our Chinese tea ceremony were all under the smaller one, which is also where our cake sat. The main dome held dinner and the dancing. Then we all came back under the smaller one for the after-party.
Allyson Backus and Mackenzie Fields ran our account between them, design on one side and production on the other, and both were straightforward to deal with and quick to say yes. The bar team deserves a mention too: good drinks, no queues, and genuinely warm every time we went up.
Lighting and sound come through Brooktech, who work here exclusively, and they were a large part of why the night looked the way it did. They hung our florist's floral ring in the oculus above the ceremony, and because their booth is built into the wall dividing the two domes, the move between rooms was seamless. Nothing failed all night.
Expect two things, neither of them a fault. A landmark of this age limits what you can do with open flame, glassware, and load-in. And across a week of 95-degree days, a room under a dome holds its heat. Nobody said a word to us about either.
The contract is thorough, and the team flagged things as they came up. Even so, there is a great deal to absorb, and we would look for it all at the start rather than picking it up as we went. We would also ask early what the fallback is if a space you are counting on becomes unavailable, because that happened to us, very late in the week, and the after-party ended up upstairs. It was fine; the basement lounge would just have felt different.
Ours was a wonderful night, and we would send anyone touring New York venues to go and see it.
