Situated just 12 miles from O’ Hare International Airport, The Westin Chicago Northwest is a wedding venue in Itasca, Illinois. This 12-story hotel features a modern, atrium-style design and is nestled amidst picturesque grounds that include a fountain lake and scenic willow trees. Inside, to-be-weds can host a refined reception in any one of three spacious ballrooms. For over 35 years, the experienced staff has curated luxury events for their cherished guests and they look forward to making your dream day a reality.
Facilities and Capacity
Prospective newlyweds can host every stage of their wedding journey at The Westin Chicago Northwest. This hotel accommodates many cultural weddings and the largest ballroom has a capacity for 1100 guests. You can exchange vows in the garden, with seating arranged to overlook the lake and woodlands. Afterward, friends and family can enjoy cocktail hour in the atrium, a stunning space characterized by marble floors and high ceilings that create an abundance of natural light. There are no less than four event spaces for your evening reception. The Billowy Lakeside Pavilion is ideal for festival-style weddings with a refined twist. This all-weather tent features draped ceiling voile, Georgian-style window paneling, and ambient lighting, with a dance floor at the center for evening entertainment. Inside the hotel, the Abricot, Gallery, and Grand Ballrooms boast luxury interiors and a mix of vintage and contemporary chandeliers. Each room has its own unique aesthetic and floor plans can be curated to reflect your preferences. WiFi and high-end lighting and sound systems are available for your convenience.

The in-house events team wants to make your wedding wishes come to life. Your personal planner is on hand to assist with everything from decor to day-of organization. They offer all-inclusive packages that comprise beverage and catering services courtesy of seasoned bartenders and award-winning chefs. From hors d'oeuvres to formal plated meals or buffet-style service, they will devise menus that reflect your individual style. The culinary team also creates customized wedding cakes.

Experienced team that knows their South Asian Weddings
The guest rooms and suites were very spacious.
Unfortunately, about 50% of our guest's rooms lost AC on Thursday and Friday, which was not ideal. However, the Westin was able to give us a 50% refund on those nights which was appreciated, and they were able to process the refund within two days of our wedding.
The Westin was a fantastic venue for our South Asian wedding, their staff is knowledgeable and professional.

Everything I could have dreamed of!
Aileen is one of the easiest people to work with. She truly knows the workings of the hotel and planning weddings. She answered our questions extremely quickly and throughly. She was present for our wedding and helped to direct the other vendors, our wedding party, and my husband and I. I can’t say enough good things about her!
For food, we ended up going with the combo meal since it was the same cost as the other options. This made our lives so much easier since we didn’t have to worry about people RSVPing with specific meal preferences unless they were vegetarian, gluten free, etc. The food was PHENOMENAL! We got so many comments about how much people liked the combo of the filet and cranberry chicken. Appetizers were also amazing, but we didn’t really have a chance to get any! The cake is from Lovin Oven, so really, what could be better?!
Overall, we are still on cloud 9 and we truly owe that to the Westin. Everything went so smoothly, which with Covid, can’t always be guaranteed! I’d recommend this venue to ANYONE! 💙

They are accommodating, flexible, creative, and knowledgeable. And, their Lakeside Pavilion and outdoor patio is second to none in the city! We highly recommend them!
