My husband and I decided to use Westgate Flowers for our wedding and they were amazing!!! From the beginning of wedding planning, they were so easy to communicate with, always responded promptly and asked so many great questions so they could turn our vision into reality! They also did a bridal bouquet and centerpiece trial for us five months before the wedding which was so fun and helpful to see the flowers in person before the wedding day. If you are looking for flowers for any event, we would 1000% recommend using Westgate Flowers! We received so many compliments on our flowers throughout the day and are so happy with how they turned out!

We hired Westgate to be the florist for our wedding and they did an absolutely marvelous job. Based on a few conversations and example pictures, they put together a beautiful collection of flowers and colors for our ceremony and reception. On the actual wedding day, they delivered and set up all the flowers exactly on time. It was a pleasure to interact with them throughout the entire process. Of all the florists we spoke to, they were by far the most friendly and happy to work with our requests and (relatively short) timeline without being pushy or judgemental. We recommend them very highly!

I had an amazing experience with Westgate for our wedding! Emma is awesome! We were planning the wedding from NYC and Emma was so accommodating by meeting a couple times via video. She is super knowledgeable and helped us achieve the look we were going for in the most cost effective way and was patient through all my indecision. She even popped in to say hi (making sure it was okay ahead of time) on my wedding day when delivering the bouquets. She was also willing to work with us in last minute plans the day before our wedding when the weather changed for the worse and it looked like the ceremony would have to be inside instead of outside as planned. Could not recommend Westgate and Emma more! Such gorgeous and durable flowers! 😍 Thank you Westgate for helping our wedding be so beautiful and making the process so smooth!

Westgate flowers was amazing to work with! They worked with us through multiple covid-related reschedulings without issue, and they helped us switch our original spring plans to a more seasonally appropriate fall plan without having to redo our whole color scheme. Flowers were delivered in excellent condition to our venue, and everything looked beautiful. All the flowers held up well throughout the evening, and several guests were caught stealing some of the flowers in the centerpieces at the end of the night! I would definitely recommend them!

We we're lucky enough to have Westgate do the flowers for our small outdoor ceremony Sept 2020. Every piece was breath taking! Adam helped us make choices and re-created exactly what we discussed...but so much more beautiful than we could have imagined! I can't thank them enough for transforming our space into wedding dream!!! And almost 2 weeks later, my goregous bouquet is still alive in a vase as a lovely reminder!!

Paul, Adam, and everyone at Westgate were amazing to work with. After reading several reviews and browsing online for a wedding florist, I called to make an appointment. We sat down, discussed what I had in mind, and flipped through binders of pictures. They were quick to send a quote, which they quickly adjusted based on my questions and changes. The pricing was reasonable and the quality was amazing. I basically looked at a picture from their prior work and was like I want exactly that but with sunflowers. I wish I had a picture of the large mantle piece that they created or the corsages, however I do have pictures of my bouquet, the table pieces, and the vases for the ceremony. I sent them a picture of the small bottles that I wanted to use, they asked for dimensions, and quickly emailed me a mockup for the tables. Days before the ceremony I realized I didn't have a vase for my bouquet for after the ceremony and they made sure to bring one. The delivery was on time and they worked well with the caterer and staff to set everything up.

I didn’t know exactly which types of flowers I wanted for my wedding day, but I had a very specific feel and color scheme in mind, and Paul absolutely delivered. The florals were all gorgeous, the communication was there throughout the planning up until the wedding day, and the pricing was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!!

We hired Westgate to do the bridal parties bouquets and boutonnieres. They worked with our budget and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The flowers turned out beautifully!

Westgate Flower and Plant Shop in Oak Park, Illinois created the gorgeous flower arrangements for my 1920’s Chicago themed wedding in December. After several productive meetings with Paul, our design coordinator, my Mom and I were excited about the custom flower design for the special day. Paul listened to our vision, suggested ideas, and showed us actual pictures of some of the other weddings he had done at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago and the First Methodist Church, our venue locations. This helped us tremendously to see the actual space as we planned together. Paul was so knowledgeable about different plant types and what arrangements would work best to create the vintage theme that we wanted. The flowers were perfect from the long-stemmed calla lilies that the bridesmaids carried, the mini calla boutonnieres with peacock feather accents for the groomsmen to dainty halos and rose petals for the flower girls. One of my Mom's
favorite memories of the reception were the stunning flower arrangements that decorated the elegant ballroom. Our wedding coordinator told us that the florist returned to his shop after setting up the ballroom to bring additional flowers back for the head table to make it “Just Perfect.” Thank you, Paul, for your attention to detail and your talent for creating such beautiful blooms for our wedding!
