West River House pays homage to the famous West River covered bridge in Vermont. As guests enter the property via the flower passageway, they are greeted by a courtyard surrounded by flowering bushes, roses, and junipers. Beyond the courtyard lies the main building, which boasts a glass front wall to symbolize the river. Guests will be amazed by the gallery and dining area, which has a 25-foot high gable with a breathtaking view of the bridge’s interior. The venue hosts weddings with up to 175 guests, and there is a selection of indoor and outdoor ceremony sites available. Champagne receptions can be held in the Great Room, which boasts a 20-foot floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking the lake. Four luxurious suites are available onsite, and plenty of additional accommodation is available close by. The venue also boasts two laundries, two kitchens, a state-of-the-art sound system, and four independently cabled viewing areas with large screens. New for 2024 is a massive patio that cantilevers over the lake making this an ideal location for unforgettable ceremonies. Included in the deal is a 40’x40’ tent on one side of the patio so spectacular dining and ceremonies can make lakeside weddings unforgettable.
