I fell in love with the Hotel Contessa 5 years before my wedding when my cousin toured it while searching for venues. When it was my turn to choose a venue, we looked at quite a few other places, but I kept coming back to the Contessa with it’s gorgeous lobby, patio, access to marriage island, view of the river, and river level reception room.

We were treated wonderfully by the staff at every step of the process, even though they were going through the process of adjusting to new ownership and staff changes. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to all the wonderful staff members who were so kind and treated us like family. Monica, Rosa, Victor, Mauricio, Joe, Luz, Elise, Patricia, Toribio, & Natalia were all so wonderful. I’m sure I’m missing some names!

Setting up the hotel block was incredibly easy and flexible, and the rooms are gorgeous. Our wedding suite had a living room area with plenty of room for getting ready, and the staff delivered some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room after the wedding. When we got there, one of our guests needed to change rooms to be closer to us because they had a toddler with them, and the front desk was so quick and gracious with moving them into a new room.

The staff worked so hard to make sure everything was exactly as I imagined it and set up the reception room and patio so beautifully. The river level reception room was the perfect size for 70 people and a DJ, and it’s so pretty on its own that we barely had to do any decorating.

Because it’s a hotel right on the river, it was also a perfect hub for hanging out all weekend. Guests would use the river level lobby to hang out, get drinks and catch up, and then explore the riverwalk. It was so easy to spend more time with guests individually as they came and went through the lobby, and it made getting ready the day of so simple because we didn’t have travel between getting dressed and the ceremony.

We had live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was an easy process to get our guitarist set up on the patio. The drinks and food were all delicious, and given how prices have been going up for so long now, it was honestly a pleasant surprise at how affordable it was compared to other venues/caterers given how fancy everything felt. We had an open bar for cocktail hour and dinner, appetizers, and a complementary vegetarian option, so we didn’t have to worry about making sure our guests had options. The staff also went out of their way to make sure we ate because you so often hear about how the bride and groom missed out on food during the wedding (shout-out to Victor and Mauricio!).

Honestly, everything was so perfect, and I can’t recommend them enough! If you have the opportunity to have your wedding at The Hotel Contessa, you definitely should.

We had an incredible wedding experience. One the many Contessa highlights was the incredible brunch buffet. Guests are still raving about the entire experience. Our thanks for helping to make our wedding event so perfect.

I had the most amazing experience with Hotel Contessa and Angela Dean! I was very stressed and felt very overwhelmed at planning my wedding, but as soon as I put it in Angela and Hotel Contessa's hands I didn't have to worry anymore. I felt as if I was their only Bride every time I visited (and we visited a lot!) and staff remembered us! Angela made sure things went smoothly and calmly. We spent the entire weekend at Hotel Contessa and it was the most relaxing, fun weekend I've ever had! Everything was all in one place. We had our ceremony on Marriage Island and the reception in Hotel Contessa. My Husband and I went to the spa first thing in the morning and had a couples massage, breakfast in our room, and then I was able to have all my girls help me get ready in our room. They made our wedding memorable and stress free. They made sure to make us feel as if we were at home. We plan to come back every year to celebrate our Anniversary with them!

Everything was perfect, better than I expected. The entire staff was extremely professional and seemed genuinely pleased to help us with anything we needed. Angela was amazing! She responded very quickly, answered every question and made sure the reception was better than I envisioned. Food was delicious. Best service I've ever seen at any wedding.

We use the Hotel Contessa for a room block since we had a lot of out of town guests for our wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful with a heated rooftop pool, suites for every room and great views. The service was exceptional throughout the entire weekend!!

Our wedding was perfect. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful, the food was excellent. We were very pleased.

Caitlin and the Hotel Contessa were absolutely AMAZING!!! Caitlin was the most responsive and informational wedding vendor I had. She had an answer, recommendation and/or solution to everything. And she put up with a ton of emails and telephone calls from my Mom and I because I was planning everything from Oregon! She made it so much easier than I ever dreamed. And the Hotel Contessa was absolutely gorgeous. We got great room rates for our guests and they loved the rooms, the location and the awesome roof top pool and the hotel bar. The food at our wedding was unbelievable and the waitstaff and bar tenders were top notch. The funny thing is that when we first started looking at venues we didn't think we could afford the Hotel Contessa. But after looking around a ton, Caitlin followed up with us to see how our search was going and we looked at Hotel Contessa a little closer -so happy we did! I would recommend the Hotel Contessa and Caitlin to anyone!! I can't wait to go there on vacation with my husband someday soon to reminisce! Thank you Hotel Contessa and Caitlin.

Hotel Contessa was perfect! The onsite coordinator did a great job and helping us put everything together with our vendors. They were a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Parking was easy to manage- which really concerned me because I had 200 guests! Yikes, I know. You can't beat the location and of all the places Randy and I visited, It was the best place for surrounding attractions for our out of town family and friends. Great place. I highly recommend Hotel Contessa!

So the wedding is finally over and I cant say enough good things about my Coordinator at Contessa- Erin Luther. She brought me in UNDER budget and I had the wedding reception of my dreams. She coordinated with my other vendors and made excellent food recommendations. She made my intimate wedding seem like her most important event this year. She moved mountains on every tiny request and I ended up with a wonderful reception and a romantic wedding stay. The champange, flowers and strawberrys were a great touch and the perfect ending to our night.

Hotel Contessa was my reception venue. The catering manager, Erin, was polite, helpful, professional and on top of things! She was so sweet to 'spruce' up my dessert table because I didn't have a lot of decoration for it. We got tons of compliments on the food!! The entrees we chose were the pistachio crusted salmon (delicious and I don't even care for salmon!), the ribeye, and the chicken zeta (yummmm!). Erin left during our cocktaill reception and put someone else in charge of our reception. I don't know his name but he was attentive and always came over to check on me and my husband to be sure everything was going okay. In addition, the venue was beautiful which overlooked the Riverwalk!!
