I had a ceremony in Central Park. Our officiant was very friendly and had smiling face. Her voice was clear and smooth although it is loud enough. She did a great job. She came 20 minutes early to ceremony and saved me from a lot of stress. She answered my emails promptly and helped me with my questions. I definitely recommend her.

I highly recommend Rev. Sheavonne Harris for your wedding whether a gay or straight couple. She is extremely professional and very accommodating. We are a lesbian couple, been together for years, and wanted a simple wedding. We arranged everything with her online. When we showed up for our central park wedding early, she was already there waiting for us. She performed the service we wrote word for word. Sheavonne is a very kind and professional officiant. Five weeks later, within the 4-6 weeks NYC marriage license bureau takes to process the paperwork, we received our marriage license in the mail. Thank you New York and thank you Rev. Rev. Sheavonne was amazing! We were married this past saturday and i had contacted her just days before my wedding and she was available and ready to help right away. My wife and I had a destination wedding in NYC at Central Park. Based on some reviews we saw online we decided to contact Reverend Sheavonne Harris and we were very glad that we did. From the first phone call just to inquire about her availability, she was extremely helpful right off the bat. Based on her experiences she provided information about Central Park and the areas within for great wedding venues for the amount of guests that we were expecting. Just based on her radiant personality over the phone we could tell that she was very passionate about what she does.
We selected the "Sweet and Simple Wedding Ceremony" package where she provided some pre-made wedding ceremony vows to choose from. There were certain sections from different ceremonies that we liked and she was more than willing to modify them for us which was great.
We really wanted to meet with her before the ceremony. She was such a joy to talk with in person. We had many questions and she answered all of them with ease. She is very knowledgeable about weddings and can answer any question that you may have. After getting to know us better, she personalized our ceremony further while keeping the essence of the ceremony we initially selected. With other officiants this would have cost extra.
On the day of our wedding it rained and had to change our plans slightly which she helped a lot with. From the beginning to the end Rev. Harris conducted the ceremony with great professionalism. She coordinated and arranged our guests so that they would have optimal view of our processional walk, queuing our violinist to begin playing, speaking clearly, loudly, and at a pace to have the ceremony be elegant but quick enough to reduce the amount of time we were in the rain.
Overall we had a wonderful experience with Rev. Harris. Our wedding could have been disastrous if it wasn't for her. If you are planning a wedding the NYC area we highly recommend her as your officiant.

She provided us with adjustable blueprints for the ceremony that allowed us to personalize the event while incorporating her expert opinions. Although we were short on time for planning the event, we never felt like we were at a disadvantage because she is so well prepared.
