Waterloo Village is a truly magical venue, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there. We first visited for a wedding and were immediately captivated by the rustic charm and historic atmosphere. After seeing how seamlessly everything ran that day, we knew it was the perfect place for our own wedding. The staff at Waterloo Village is outstanding—extremely friendly, helpful, and refreshingly low-pressure. They genuinely focus on making your day special without pushing you to spend beyond your budget. Their professionalism and warmth made the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. One of the highlights is their catering partner, JAM. Their commitment to farm-to-table dining is evident in every dish. Many of the ingredients are sourced fresh, some even from their urban garden, which adds a special touch. The food is not only fresh but absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with incredible staff and top-notch food, Waterloo Village is a fantastic choice!

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Waterloo Village and the incredible people who made our wedding day so special. ❤️ From the very beginning, Diane made such a lasting impression on us. She gave us our first tour of Waterloo, and at a time when we honestly didn’t think having our wedding there was possible, she found a way to make it happen. She believed in our vision and helped make our dream of celebrating at Waterloo a reality. We will always be grateful to her for that. Her kindness and professionalism are unmatched! And then there is Nic. We truly cannot imagine our wedding experience without him. From the beginning of planning through our wedding day, he made us feel completely seen, heard, and understood. He has an incredible ability to anticipate what you need, curate every detail, and bring calm and confidence to the entire experience. He knew what to do even when we didn’t, and always seemed to know exactly when to guide us and when to simply let us lead. When we knew where we wanted to go, he helped us get there and made our vision even better. He is an incredible professional, but even more importantly, he is an exceptionally kind person who became a friend to us. My bridal party kept saying “Nic for President”, we cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Nic. If 20 stars was an option, he earned it. We also have to give a huge shoutout to the entire Jeffrey Miller Catering (JAM) team. From the beginning, they made us feel like family rather than clients. The warmth and genuine care they showed us made it feel like so much more than a business relationship. And the food was phenomenal! We loved the use of local ingredients, and even our tasting felt like a wedding in itself. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. Waterloo Village itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every corner is beautiful, charming, and full of character. The bridal cottage is absolutely adorable and was such a beautiful, cozy, and thoughtful place to begin our wedding day. The loft for the Groom and his friends provided a fun space as well! Every detail throughout the property felt intentional and special. On our wedding day, the Waterloo and JAM teams went above and beyond to make everything seamless. We had a challenging weather day, and everyone responded with incredible kindness, flexibility, professionalism, and care. From providing tons of umbrellas to helping with transportation and constantly checking in on us and our guests, they made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. One of the greatest compliments is that our guests kept telling us how wonderful the staff were. We heard again and again how helpful, communicative, attentive, and composed everyone was. Our guests noticed the genuine care just as much as we did. From our very first tour with Diane, through planning with Nic, our tasting with JAM, and our wedding day, we never felt like just another wedding. We felt genuinely cared for, supported, and celebrated. Diane, Nic, and the entire Waterloo and JAM teams — thank you for taking our vision and making it even more beautiful than we imagined. You made an already breathtaking venue feel absolutely perfect for us. And if we ever somehow get the chance to get married again… we would pick Waterloo. Over and over and over again. ❤️ Five stars will never feel like enough. Look not further, schedule the tour. It’s perfect.

My husband and I recently got married at Waterloo. From when we toured the venue to the wedding day we were treated so well! They provided us with so much info which made wedding planning so much easier! Our event designer was Nic. He was wonderful! He answered every question we had and was always checking in with us! On the day of the wedding, he made sure everything was running smoothly and making sure we had everything we needed! He was truly a delight! It was a dream come true wedding! We highly recommend Waterloo Village and if you get to choose your event designer I highly recommend Nic! :) 

Our experience at Waterloo Village was amazing. We got married in June and the setting was right out of a fairytale and is a great pick for couples looking for a rustic feel. There are many spots onsite for wedding photos with historic structures and nature and animals live on the property (alpacas came to cocktail hour!) Our event designer, Nic, was so organized and responsive and thoroughly answered any questions we had. He went above and beyond throughout the process. He had a folder on Google Drive with all of the paperwork in one spot as well as an online portal that made it easy to keep track of what we needed. On the day of I didn't have to worry about a thing venue-wise. The staff are considerate and made sure that all our guests were comfortable, for example, it was very hot outside and they made sure our immediate family could sit in air conditioning prior to the ceremony start. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable- we had many compliments from guests. The site is all inclusive (e.g., food, cake) and then you can DIY your own vibe with the decor and choices from their extensive menu. There are many options to choose from in terms of food and decor that can accommodate different budgets. We went with the included decor and it was so beautiful. Everyone from accounting to the bartenders were incredibly professional and kind. It was a dream come true-can't recommend enough!

We got married at Waterloo in September 2025 and could not recommend it more highly. When we first toured the venue, it was clear that the Waterloo team was well-organized, experienced, and had a clear plan --- and, of course, it was obvious that the venue is beautiful. Throughout the planning process, the Waterloo team were very helpful, friendly, and always sent clear instructions about what was needed. The venue offers a wide range of menu and decor options, so you can really build a package based on what you're looking for. When the day finally came, the staff were amazing --- all the logistical details were taken care of, and the venue was decorated beautifully. Plus, as many other reviewers have pointed out, the food is incredible. Particularly if you are looking for something with a rustic feel, Waterloo is a great choice!

I am getting married at Waterloo Village Historic Site in Stanhope, NJ on July 18, 2025. Waterloo Village is a historic site that was renovated for weddings by Jeffrey A. Miller Catering Company. My fiancé and I toured over twenty venues all across the Hudson Valley and decided on Waterloo Village because of the beautiful ceremony sites and farm-to-table food. The JAM Catering team are so professional and take great pride in their services. We are so excited to get married at Waterloo Village!

Waterloo village is absolutely stunning and has so much history to it as well, which I really liked for my wedding. It has a rustic vibe to it and it’s perfect for having my wedding there! The food is phenomenal and my event planner is absolutely awesome! Helps me (all the time) with any little thing I ask for. I’m getting super excited for my big day! I know the staff is going to make it perfect for me!

Just had our Final Walkthrough meeting with Christine and we both left feeling so relieved! She has taken us through each to-do list item step by step, which really helps calm the one-month-to-go panic. In talking to the JAM and Waterloo staff, it is so apparent that they hold a deep love for the venue, enjoy meeting with couples, and strive to make their visions come to life. Very excited for the crisp natural autumnal setting, the food (!!), the gorgeous pictures, and of course - to marry my guy!

My fiancee and I can’t wait for the big day at Waterloo Villiage, the grounds and spaces are exactly what me and my fiancee were looking for, and they are stunning. We did our tasting for the wedding and all the food was scrumptious, fresh, and classy. The cakes were amazing, my fiancee and I wanted them all for the wedding haha! Everyone has been super nice and easy to work with!
