In Mead Hall, you'll find romantic columns and a foyer. Marble and wood accents throughout give a nod to the building’s history. Moving to the S.W. Bowne Great Hall and you are greeted by architecture that takes its inspiration from Oxford’s Christ Church Hall. The wood paneling and stone staircase make a powerful statement, leaving a lasting impression. In the Great Hall, you can exchange your vows or dine under the lofty ceilings in a space that reflects the grandeur of your love. For a smaller ceremony, the Craig Chapel continues this romantic feel with a piano and pipe organ.

History

The university began as a seminary in 1867. It was founded with a large sum and the property being gifted by Daniel Drew who worked on Wall Street and in the steamboat industry. Throughout the years the institution expanded and now has both undergraduate and graduate-level programs.

Location

Drew University is less than a half an hour from Manhattan, the Newark Liberty Airport, and the Madison train station. Guests can easily travel to the location. The surrounding area also boasts an array of hotels and accommodations for the convenience of your loved ones.
