I will be getting married here December 2024 and I have to say that everything thus far has been nothing short of amazing! When I first inquired about them, Diane, got back to me right away and we set up a meeting to tour the venue! Walking the path leading to the meeting house where our reception will be, I already knew I had to get married here and so did my fiance. The rustic decor and what is included was what sold us! From the lanterns, centerpieces, seating chart signs, I fell in love. I was also very excited that we will get a day of coordinator and that the food is grown on premises! We booked right away and since then, they have actively kept in contact making sure we know about open houses so we can come play with what we want to do at our wedding, and just keeping us in the know on events. We attended an open house in July and was so glad we did! We were able to bring a couple people from our bridal party, and we got to speak to coordinators, play with our centerpieces, and we got to try some of the food! Everything was delicious. We can not wait for our big day! You can not go wrong with going with Waterloo!

Once we tour Waterloo, we were set and couldn't be more excited to celebrate the beginning of our marriage in such a magical setting.

This review is a little late but worth the read. My fiancé and I will be getting married, September of next year at Waterloo Village. From the moment I walked onto the property, walking past the garden, orchard and walking up the brick path to where the reception will be, my fiancé and I agreed, this is where we say “I do”. The rustic romantic feel of the venue and everything you could possibly need is already included in the price. They offer a variety of decor and lighting options and the venue has several stone fireplaces that add to the ambiance. The entire meeting and tour with the manager Diane was perfect! Diane’s passion, personality and vision when she talked about where we could have our 1st look to the reception set up was exactly how I envisioned my wedding day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Waterloo Village.

When my partner Rebecca and I were looking for a wedding venue we happened to stumble upon Waterloo Village. The venue is really special and the team at JAM have made it so. Its pretty cool that they have Alpacas as well! We cannot wait for our big day to celebrate it at a great venue.

Diane and Carolynn have been absolutely fantastic in assisting us with planning our Garden Party-themed celebration. Our experience so far with Waterloo Village and their staff has been amazing. From the moment we walked onto the property at Waterloo, we knew it was going to be our wedding venue! Between the beautiful farm, the adorable animals (love the alpacas), the gorgeous canal and historic homes, and the venue itself, we made our venue decision very quick! We got to see all of the ceremony spots which were all beautiful in their own unique way, but since our wedding is in summer we fell in love with their Secret Garden location. It is tucked away in the trees and just gives very magical vibes. So we are super excited!

Once we picked Waterloo as our venue, it only got better from there. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. We brought our families to the open house and both sets of parents could not believe how incredible the food was! JAM catering does an amazing job of make fresh food that is sustainable and mostly grown by them (AMAZING)!

Although my wedding at Waterloo is still in the planning stage, I am already overwhelmed by the incredible service and attention to detail provided by their exceptional team. Having attended a wedding at the venue, the staff not only recognized me and my fiance (they didn't even know we would be there!) but went out of their way to check in a few times to see if we had any questions throughout the night, which is a testament to how caring and invested they are in their couples.

From the initial planning discussions, every interaction with the JAM Catering team has been amazing. Their responsiveness, helpfulness, and genuine enthusiasm for creating the perfect day have made the planning process much less stressful. What's even more reassuring is that all of my vendors have expressed how wonderful they are to work with. The food at the wedding and at the group tasting was so delicious. I'm sure my wedding day will be nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the incredible team at JAM.

My fiancé and I had our group tasting at Waterloo about two weeks and the food was absolutely amazing! The grazing stations and Butlered Hors D'oeuvres were delicious! The signature drinks were great too!

My fiancé and I fell in love with Waterloo the moment we arrived. After the tour, one glance between us is all it took for us to say yes to signing on with them! We went to the Waterloo Group Tasting today for our upcoming wedding! I still cannot get over how gorgeous the venue is & there are so many options to pick from for the food! They are so creative with all the different food stations for cocktail hour & deserts, along with their entrees! We can’t wait to have our vision come to life this coming November and to finally say “I do” at Waterloo!

The catering by JAM was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. We couldn't be more excited about our upcoming wedding at Waterloo Village. The entire team, especially Christine, have been helpful throughout the entire process. We especially enjoyed our group tasting, which gave us a great chance to sample the great food and many desserts. It's also been nice taking advantage of their open houses, which really gave us a chance to get a feel for the space and what the day would be like. Very happy with our decision to go with Waterloo!

Every time my fiancé and I visit Waterloo Village, we get more and more excited to get married there this fall. We went for our group tasting, and it was an awesome event!! We brought my parents, sister, and brother-in-law, and we all agreed that the tasting felt like a mini wedding! The JAM staff were all very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions. We got to try everything from signature drinks, welcome drinks, cocktail stations and passed hors d'oeuvres, several different entrees, dessert stations, and at least 8 different cakes! We walked out stuffed and happy and also had a great idea of what our favorites were that we want to serve our guests. They even had Metrobus there too (who we also booked for our wedding) for taking fun photobooth pics! JAM catering continues to impress us and we are looking forward to building our delicious menu out with them soon! :)

They say that your wedding day is the best day of your life and thanks to Waterloo Village Weddings ours really was! Everything about our experience with JAM and Waterloo Village Weddings was absolutely perfect. What drew us to this venue initially (aside from the idyllic location) was that they are a one-stop shop. Not having to coordinate with a venue, a caterer, a cake maker, a decorations rental and all of the other things you find out you need when planning a wedding made the experience so easy. It was so easy to pick our menus and really customize them to what we wanted. The rentable decor available was perfect for the look we were wanting and really created the rustic, country wedding of our dreams. And Christine and her team coordinated every detail with our outside vendors, as well.
The team at Waterloo really know what they are doing and the pride they take in making your day perfect shows in so many ways. On our wedding day, it was windy and we were faced with the tough decision to move our ceremony inside. Christine (our Waterloo Coordinator) pulled together the most beautiful indoor ceremony for us. We were married in the Mule Barn which was just absolutely stunning. And the best part was we didn’t have to do anything! Christine and her team coordinated with our vendors and let them know of the new plan before I could even type a text message. Throughout the whole day, the entire staff made sure my wife and I always had full drinks and were eating the amazing food they had prepared for us. Our guests could not stop raving about the food! Honestly, it was so good! When it came to the end of the night, they already had all of our personal items packed up neatly and even broke down our chuppah and put it back in the rental truck for us. The team was incredible and really made it so that we could just enjoy the day and our guests.
I could go on forever about how amazing Christine and her team at Waterloo Village, JAM, and just the whole experience was but just know that you will NOT regret having your wedding here. For the money you are paying you really get so MUCH MORE with JAM and Waterloo Village events! Hands down the best venue and catering company in Northern New Jersey.

My fiancé and I are getting married in October 2023 and just came back from our group tasting experience with JAM Catering at Waterloo Village. Not only was the food we got to eat and choose from excellent, but the group tasting was an experience we can now add to our wedding memories. We brought parents from both sides of the families and had great drinks, laughs, and an overall amazing time all while getting to know other couples and bonding with the Waterloo staff. Truly beyond service and attention to detail. It got us so excited (an on-track, tbh) for our upcoming wedding. Thanks, Waterloo!

We had our wedding at Waterloo over the summer and it was a fairytale! Everything was exactly how I had envisioned thanks to our planner Carolyn. The photos do not do the venue justice. The surrounding grounds are stunning in full bloom. The bridal suite was beautifully decorated and tranquil while we were getting ready. Diane and Carolyn were wonderful to work with and I always enjoyed seeing them at the open houses and throughout the planning process. I can't recommend them enough. So many of our guests said it was by far the best food they have ever had. JAM Catering was fantastic! The service was also top of the line as well. I wish I could do it all over again.

I could not be happier with this venue. JAM catering has been so helpful and flexible with every aspect of the event planning. My favorite thing about Waterloo Village is that the site is beautiful on it's own and I've had to do minimal work in terms of decorations. SO much is included in their price per person (even the alpacas & firepit!). I'm not even getting flower centerpieces because their included décor is perfect. Tessa is our event coordinator and she is the BEST. She answers promptly and has been so accommodating. Diane has also been SO great from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

My fiancé and I just had our group tasting at Waterloo Village prior to our April 2023 wedding. There was SO many different options to try from in all areas such as cocktail hour drinks passed, hors d’oeuvres, cocktail hour food stations, appetizers, dinner items, cakes, dessert enhancements, and even a to go goody bag with treats! It was great having so many options to try from and gave us a clear vision for our wedding menu. Some of our favorites were the tomahawk steak, hanging pretzels, barbecue in a jar, salmon croquette, flat iron steak, and churros! We don’t know what was better, the presentation or the taste! To top it off, Jeffrey Miller was there himself chatting with guests and cooking delicious dishes which made it an even more personalized experience. All of the employees were extremely informative and happy to answer any questions we had. We are even more excited to have our upcoming wedding and for our guests to try all the fantastic dishes! It was a wonderful Saturday outing with my fiancé as it also allowed us to explore the venue and further envision our special day at such a beautiful venue. I am getting married at Waterloo Village April 2023. When I frist visited Waterloo Village I knew this is where I wanted to get married. It's a beautiful and unique venue. Everyone who I have worked with so far has been amazing and the food is never frozen and farm to table which was important to us. If you are looking for a rustic venue with everything included this is the spot.

I had an amazing experience working with JAM Catering at Waterloo Village for our wedding. The venue itself was stunning, and the team went above and beyond to create a magical and memorable experience for us and our guests.

From the first tour of the venue to the final moments of the wedding, Maria (now retired), Diane, Carolyn, Tessa and the rest of the JAM Catering staff were an absolute joy to work with. We were assigned to work with Carolyn, the wedding planner, who was truly an amazing rockstar. She was professional, responsive, and always went the extra mile to ensure that our vision and preferences were met. She provided helpful advice and recommendations, and was always available to answer our questions and concerns.

The morning before our wedding day, I received a call and was told Carolyn was in the ER and was not able to direct the wedding rehearsal and day of, but was reassured that the other wedding planner, Tessa would fill in. Tessa stepped up and went above and beyond and it’s a true testimony to how amazing the JAM Catering Waterloo Village staff are! On the day of the wedding, Tessa and the team were exceptional. They took care of everything from set up to tear down, and ensured that everything ran smoothly and seamlessly. The space was beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail was impressive. Our guests were blown away by the stunning location and the amazing drinks, food and service provided by the team. Cinnamon and Sugar, the alpacas were a big hit with our guest as well!

Overall, I cannot recommend JAM Catering at Waterloo Village enough. If you're looking for a stunning and memorable wedding venue with exceptional service and a dedicated wedding planner, they are the one to choose! I am absolutely obsessed with this venue! I fall more and more in love each time my fiancé and I visit. We get married there next week and I cannot wait for my guest to experience this unique venue. Unlike any of the other ones we visited which is why I love it .

We recently had our wedding celebration at Waterloo Village. Words cannot describe how perfect the day was from start to finish. Throughout the entire process the staff was amazingly helpful and patient with us as we made decisions. The uniqueness of the grounds allowed us to take beautiful photos and all of our guests have been raving about the food ever since. To be honest, the only thing that we worried about was the amount of food because our families eat a lot. However, not only was there more than enough food, it was absolutely delicious- specifically the paella for cocktail hour and the short ribs. This was literally my dream wedding from start to finish because it had a rustic vibe, lots of nature, they let our dogs in!, and even had a fire pit for s’mores at the end. If you’re looking for a rustic style venue for the wedding of your dreams then look no further than Waterloo!

Waterloo Village wasn't even on my radar until an acquaintance recomended it after being a guest there. I was searching for a rustic venue that wasn't a barn and Waterloo absolutely checked all the boxes. Maria and Diane were so wonderful during the tour. Diane showed us the numerous choices for our ceremony and photos. Maria broke down a price calculation for us. The entree items at our tasting were absolutely delicious it was so hard to choose! I appreciate that they grow many of their own herbs and vegetables and use fresh in-season ingredients.

My fiance and I are getting married at Waterloo Village in July and we couldn't be more excited! The staff have so far been supportive and helpful every step of the way and we feel confident that our big day will be smooth, easy and fun!

When we found Waterloo we were looking for a place that was rustic, yet affordable, and we had to see quite a few venues until we discovered Waterloo. I was beginning to lose hope! But when I walked on the Waterloo property back in August, saw all the animals and the crops growing, I had a feeling this place was for us. As soon as I found out the prices are reasonable we decided to book right away!

I would recommend Waterloo to anyone searching for a rustic, beautiful venue (that does all of the heavy lifting for you!) - all for a great price!

I got married in June at Waterloo Village and we were so happy with how the day went! Everything was so organized from start to finish the day-of. We really didn't have to worry about anything that day- the staff took care of everything from set up to packing everything at the end of the night. The venue itself is beautiful and has so many great spots for photos. Our guests loved being able to hang out outside on the patio and around the camp fire! I think the venue overall is a great value because they include so much- I didn't have to purchase any extra decorations. The food, including the cocktail hour, was even better than we expected! The staff was awesome and accommodating all night. We got so many compliments from guests and really enjoyed the night! I would definitely recommend this venue!
