Hi, I’m Sully Carter of Vested in Me Weddings located in Orange, Virginia. I strive to be an honest, caring wedding celebrant and create a wedding ceremony that is not only memorable, but everything you envisioned it to be. As we begin the process, I will get to know you and your fiancé, your backgrounds and your expectations. I use this to craft a wedding ceremony that reflects your individual vision. I welcome couples of all faiths, beliefs, traditions, backgrounds including LGBTQ couples.

Experience
I am an authorized wedding officiant in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. This all began when I officiated a friend’s wedding in 2003. I really enjoyed the experience and it grew from there. I’m located in Central Virginia, but I travel all over Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. I have had the pleasure of incorporating traditions such as, “jumping the broom,” “tying the knot” and “breaking the glass,” Mazel Tov!, to name a few.

I’ve performed intimate elopements with only three of us present, as well as elaborate ceremonies with hundreds of guests.
