We absolutely loved our wedding cake! We landed on honey lavender and red velvet and both were delicious. Veronica did a great job, look no further!

We had the best experience working with Veronika for our wedding cake! She is truly the sweetest person and are so happy we worked with her to design our wedding cake. The cake looked exactly like the pictures we had sent her for inspiration and it tasted even better than it looked. We are so excited to visit her new Birchwood Bakery!

When I tell you I tired over 20 bakeries and they were all OK but.. once I tired Veronikas cake... it blew me away. Her cakes are legit to DIE FOR! We ended up choosing lemon blueberry and oreo as our flavors. She will go above and beyond for you. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding. Which was extremely devastating for me. When telling her she was extremely understanding and even went out of her way to call me to ensure I was okay. She even offered up her bakery as a alternative for eloping if we decided in doing that instead. She is soo sweet and soo kin. She will put love into your cakes like no other. She is making my birthday cake instead of my wedding cake and I'm soo excited about it. Her cakes are beautiful and sooo YUMMY! She will legit turn your dream cake into reality.

She's so nice and made our vision a reality. We did carrot cake, lemon, and added red velvet cupcakes. Very responsive through WW and email. She was respectful of our budget but we were so proud to support a local, woman operated business. Everyone expected us to use another popular bakery in MA but our guests LOVED hers. We had NONE left over and everyone always says so much cake is tossed out. The bakery isn't gluten free so we couldn't do any gluten free cake but that's ok. The cakes were all nut free which we needed. The carrot cake was so smooth - it didn't have chunks of carrot in it which our guests appreciated. We didn't taste test the lemon but got it anyways and it was amazing.

$25 tasting fee (6 slices) but goes toward your invoice

We did a backup cake or "sheet cake" (non decorated just icing) which was lemon

I was quoted a base of $620 at another popular bakery for fewer slices and cupcakes. We didn't even get into flavors, decoration, or travel fees.

I first chose Veronika Matunin Cakes for our wedding cake because of her design aspect. I was initially looking for a watercolor cake but then went in another direction.

Although we went with a more simple look we absolutely loved our cake from taste to design! Veronika was easy to work with from inquiry to delivery. I’m glad we shopped local, we will certainly be stoping by her new bakery, Birchwood to check out more of her many talents.

Our wedding cake was both beautiful, and delicious! Veronika was helpful and responsive during both the tasting and design process. Veronika honestly gave me everything I could have imagined in my cake. She was professional yet inviting/accepting. The cake testing was perfect and the final product was surreal. Possibly the best part of my wedding … besides my husband LOL.

Veronika is extremely talented. After coming across her Instagram page I knew I had to have her bake my wedding cake! Not only is her design work impeccable but the cake itself was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to work with Veronika again on other personal events in the future and would highly recommend her to others!

I want to start off by saying that I am a huge lover of cake so finding a good wedding cake was important to me. My husband and I were supposed to get married in May, we had a cake all lined up with a different company and were so excited about it... then the global pandemic hit and we were forced to move our wedding date out to September. In the process of moving our wedding date we lost our original cake vendor, BUT it turned out to work entirely in our favor. While scrambling to find another cake vendor I came across Veronika's site and I was blown away by how beautiful her cakes were. These cakes were so much more "me" than the traditional cake we were going to go with. I contacted Veronika and we were able to set up a covid friendly drive by cupcake tasting. She gave us a plethora of options to try, including a specialty flavor upon request, and they were all delicious. In the end we landed on a vanilla cake with almond butter cream frosting and my god was that cake GOOD! It was so light and airy and sweet, but not too sweet. It was everything I wanted in a cake.

On top of the exquisite cake Veronika is so wonderful to work with. She is very quick to get back to you and is very flexible. She was a joy to work with when we were coming up with the design for the cake: she was excited, positive, and was great to bounce ideas off of. And as an extra bonus her prices ended up being more affordable than our original cake.

I would 100% recommend hiring Veronika and plan to get more cakes from her including the honey lavender cake.
