Velvet Whisk was created by Mary Sarain, who previously owned Pure Cupcakes and is the recipient of several Best Bakery in San Diego as well as Food Network Cupcake Wars Winner since 2010.

Velvet Whisk Cake Studio was created to provide personalized desserts showcasing our most popular flavors, desserts and custom cake designs we're known for. We use only the highest quality, whole ingredients, with no artificial flavors or preservatives. We carry amazing selection of cake flavors from traditional to uniquely custom flavors. We also carry an assortment of vegan and gluten free options.

Velvet Whisk services include custom menu based on your specific needs, rental displays, setup and delivery throughout San Diego county. We take great pride in providing delicious treats that always exceed your expectations and ready to make your very special day shine!
