We are having our wedding at Vassar Alumnae House and, unfortunately, only had two caterers to choose from. During my college days we would love eating at Twisted Soul and there food was great! However, we were appalled with their catering service. I contacted them in November to set up a meeting, to which I received a response inquiring about our availability. I promptly responded, though weeks went by with no response. I let the holidays go by thinking they were probably just buy. As soon as January rolled around I sent a reminder email about setting up a meeting. Meeting went rather well, and Brenda was open to our vision of our wedding and our budget. She said she would email us the proposal, thus we patiently waited. A month went by with no response (meanwhile the second catering option responded with a professionally crafted powerpoint presentation in less than a week), so I sent a courtesy reminder. She said she would get email it by that week. Two weeks went by and still no proposal. I sent out another email asking if everything was okay, and her response was that the chef had to still write his part in the proposal. Another two weeks went buy and she sends out the email but forgets to attach the proposal! I send out an email letting her know that the proposal failed to attach to the email. She finally sends me the proposal three days later only to discover a poorly organized word document missing some of the key foods we had asked for the wedding and and extra $13 per person to the original quoted price. If they are already stressing me out before I even get to make an official contract with Twisted Soul then that is not a good sign for a future relationship with them. They may have a successful restaurant experience, however in regards to their catering services they have much work to do.
