Michelle was a fantastic wedding planner who I am very grateful my wife and I got to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the space and was a great guide. Leading up to the wedding, she took exactly what my wife and I wanted and helped convey that message to our vendors perfectly. She also met with our vendors and checked in with them to make sure everyone was in the same page. She was extremely thorough. On the big day and leading up to it, Michelle constantly relieved my wife’s stress about the entire process. From keeping everything on schedule, to making sure our place settings looked right, to telling vendors about last minute changes, Michelle was in top of it all. the care and service we received from her was amazing and I cannot recommend her enough.

When I say that Michelle helped to make our wedding day perfect, I sincerely mean it!! I started working with her about a year before our wedding, and she was so helpful every step of the process. The year before was a very busy year for my fiance and I as we were both in post-grad programs and working - Michelle helped to take a lot of the stress of wedding planning off our plates! She lead us to wonderful vendors (DJ, florist, videographer) that I wouldn't have found without her, and helped me with multiple design aspects. Michelle is so personable and became a friend - I loved our phone calls to chat about wedding planning! All of my bridesmaids, my Mom, and my mother-in-law loved Michelle's calming and fun demeanor the day of the wedding. There are so many wonderful things I could say about Michelle from Twist Six Events, so I will skip to the end and say that you will never regret hiring her to plan your wedding! I am an anxious over-thinker who was immediately overwhelmed by the task of planning a wedding. But from our very first conversation, Michelle managed to put my mind at ease. She has the confidence of someone who knows exactly what it takes to throw a fantastic wedding, with the enthusiasm and genuine interest to help you make your wedding feel unique as well. All of the vendors that she recommended were highly professional, and took pride in their work. She was always quick to respond to all of my questions, and really helped me edit my, often too vague, ideas into my dream wedding that was smooth, cohesive, and incredibly polished. On a very personal note, in the midst of our planning, my family suffered a very unexpected loss; after which, I had a very hard time focusing on planning our wedding. Michelle went over and above to quietly keep me on track, while giving me the space I needed at that time. Our wedding day wasn’t missing anything. Thanks to Michelle’s dedication, and organization, no one would have ever known that I took quite a bit of a break from planning. When I got engaged, my fiancé and I agreed that hiring a wedding planner would be beneficial. We both were looking for someone who would provide guidance, wonderful recommendations, but more importantly someone who we felt would support us throughout the wedding process. I am so thankful for Michelle at Twist Six Events. From our initial phone call, Michelle asked about Joe and I, she didn’t jump to business like other planners did. That is what I loved most about her and highly respect her for. Michelle genuinely cares about her couples and wants nothing but the best, and won’t accept anything less. Michelle provided the best guidance for my now husband and I throughout our wedding planning process. There were times I texted her late and she’d respond without hesitation or she’d make sure to follow up with me, vendors, etc. If I was becoming overwhelmed she always offered her support and care that made me feel so at ease. I am so incredibly grateful for Michelle, Joe and I could not have imagined not having her by our side. Michelle is an incredible wedding planner, and we cannot thank her enough for helping us have our dream wedding day (which absolutely would not have been possible without her!). My husband and I both have demanding jobs, so having Michelle there to take the stress away for us was so appreciated. From the beginning stages of meeting with vendors, Michelle was invaluable – she provided recommendations regarding which vendors to use based on her extensive experience in the industry, provided us with carefully drafted question lists to ask to vendors, collected quotes for us to compare, and attended all vendor meetings with us during which she served as our advocate and helped us to negotiate. Michelle was just a phone call or email away when we had any issues, always responding promptly and going into problem solving mode and having any tough conversations for us.

We were already so impressed by Michelle leading up to the wedding, but fast forward to our wedding day, and Michelle again exceeded all expectations. Michelle prepared detailed schedules for the wedding party, coordinated all details with vendors, managed and set up all our decor, among other items, such that we didn’t have to worry about anything but showing up on the day of the wedding. The only part that we, as a couple, were stressed about was the weather. It was our dream to get married in the beautiful Italian gardens of Crane Estate, but mother nature gave us a run for our money – with severe thunderstorms predicted. Michelle never gave up hope, though, and she worked closely with the venue to track the weather. On our wedding day, showers began to start before our ceremony, but Michelle meticulously watched the radar and identified a short timeframe during which the rain would ease up. She quickly corralled all vendors and wedding guests to the Italian gardens, and, in the nick of time, before the severe thunderstorms rolled in, we were able to have the ceremony of our dreams outdoors. Without having Michelle there as our advocate, there is no way this would have been possible. We will forever be thankful for Michelle’s quick thinking, ability to lead teams under pressure, and her dedication to helping us execute the wedding that we had dreamed of. Our vendor team (all of which Michelle recommended) was also incredible, and despite the chaos of the day due to weather, they all executed their respective roles flawlessly. We truly cannot thank Michelle enough for all of her help.

Lastly, we think it’s important to mention that Michelle is not only a one-of-a-kind talented wedding planner, but she is also a really kind person and becomes a genuine friend throughout the process. Michelle is a wedding planner because she genuinely loves helping couples have the weddings of their dreams; her enthusiasm is contagious, and although my husband and I were really stressed at times about the whole process, Michelle eased our nerves and instead made us feel excited about the big day.

Twist Six and Michelle were a fantastic partner to have in our corner!! From our initial call, 10 months out from our wedding, right after we had booked our venue, to every detail along the way – Michelle was there for it all. She was a great sounding board for our (sometime wild) ideas and came up with suggestions for how to bring them to live. Michelle managed all of our chosen vendors and the many, many logistics, negotiations and planning to bring our magical day to fruition. And it truly was magical. I can’t even imagine all of the behind-the-scenes phone calls, emails and fire drills that happen along the way but with Michelle, you’ll never see it…or get stressed about it. She’s got you!!

Twist six events (Michelle) was a dream to work with. At the beginning of wedding planning my fiancée and I were slightly overwhelmed with the amount of vendors we needed to find and the tasks that need to be completed. We decided that finding a wedding planner was the first place to start. Once we spoke with Michelle we knew that she was our girl! She was friendly, kind, organized and willing to work with our specific needs. Throughout the planning process Michelle would check in with us to let us know the next step we needed to take to stay on schedule (reminding us when to gather addresses, when to schedule initial floral meetings, when we needed to start our invitation design, schedule detail meetings and SO much more!). Not only did she remind us of what we needed to do to stay on schedule, she would often check in to see how we were feeling (sometimes the home stretch of planning can get stressful!). If we ever got stressed she would do what ever she could to alleviate that stress and continue the excitement that we all had. The day of the wedding Michelle came with a wedding day “emergency kit” filled with anything you could possibly need that you may have forgotten. She was at our venue the whole morning setting up the room to perfection. This allowed us to enjoy the day and spend time with our loved ones that morning. We could not have asked for a more kind and hard working planner if we tried. She wanted the day to be just as perfect as we did and took pride in all of her work. Michelle instantly eliminated the overwhelming feeling we initially had and we could not recommend working with her more!!

Michelle was the best decision my husband and I made when we planned our wedding. I'm a very organized individual who does a lot of planning for my job, so I originally held out on finding a planner, thinking I could do it myself. The thing is, I really could not have done what Michelle did. Not only was she organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with my husband and my indecisiveness, she kept us on track in a way that never made us feel like we were falling behind. She brought amazing vendor recommendations to the table, kept all the contracts in order, made all of our calls fun and light, and she delivered some wedding day magic with a last minute delivery (I'd forgotten to bring some outfit changes to my wedding venue, oops!). I couldn't recommend Michelle enough as a wedding planner and overall wonderful human being. Hire her – you will not regret the investment!
