Michael was our DJ and he was amazing! He knew exactly how to read the room, host, and play the best music for our audience. He was great and we would 100% recommend him or anyone in his company to DJ your wedding!

My wife and I hired True DJs of Dallas for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Michael Roos, the owner, was always quick to communicate and had great ideas on how to make our big day even better. He was extremely organized and had everything broken down by the minute which really took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

The DJ that came out, Kaivan Bazleh (KB), was AWESOME. We really can't say enough great things about what a fantastic job he did. KB was always quick to respond, make suggestions, play requests, etc. He kept the atmosphere fun and upbeat the entire time; so much so that some people wanted to open the dance floor early. We had numerous guests tell us afterwards about how much they loved the DJ.

We really can't recommend this company enough!

As always, Michael has come through for me. I recently coordinated a Celebration of Life for a very good friend that recently died of breast cancer. Initially, the family wasn't keen on hiring a DJ for the event. But, after much convincing, they finally allowed me to do so, but it was at the very last minute. Michael worked it out for me and sent Nick who turned out to be perfect for this particular style of event. Ultimately, Michael and Nick were critical in helping make this event successful. My friend's family and I sincerely thank you!

Michael Roos DJ'd our wedding in early December 2021 and he did an amazing job. Extremely professional and our wedding may not have gone over so smoothly without him.

Our first meeting with Roos was about the timeline for the wedding, the venue and what we may need from him. He stayed in touch throughout the months leading up to the wedding and checked in to make sure we were adding the songs to a special website he uses to make sure everything is organized for the big day.

When it came time for the big day itself, he showed up early and was able to get everything set up on his own. We had an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. He made sure all of the audio was hooked up in the right places and our guests could hear all of the music for the ceremony as well as making sure our officiant had a good mic to be heard.

For the reception, he made sure that we were all in the right place at the right time. He wasn't just doing his job as a dj to make sure all of the music we wanted was played. He checked in on us multiple times, making sure we knew that we had 10 min before the bouquet toss, 15 min before the cake cutting, an hour before the final send-off. His communication throughout prep in the months before and the night of was amazing and just what we needed to have a special night.

If you are looking for a well organized dj that will play all of the music you want with great audio and displays great communication with you throughout the entire process, Roos is your guy. Big thanks to him for making sure our night was one we wouldn't forget! #TrueDJsofDallas

We originally were thinking like a half hearted thought about a DJ - I read several reviews about other DJ's and wasn't impressed I stumbled across Michael Roos name in another review and started digging in.. it was the best decision we made to hire Michael Roos for our wedding. we had a quiet crowd but everyone loved the music and it was so easy it was one thing in the wedding that i felt i didn't have to consistently monitor because Michael is so competent and communicative. it was AWESOME! So - if for any reason you are thinking about hiring Michael go ahead and do it - you will be so happy you did.

Michael Roos from #TrueDJsofDallas did a great job at our wedding! We Zoomed with him in advance to discuss thoughts on timeline and songs. It was an interactive, candid discussion and he provided his perspective on what he thought would work vs. could be adjusted with our plan. When Michael discovered that I was a Caribbean girl he played me a sample and I immediately went back to my parents 90’s reggae and dancehall parties. We knew he had to play at our wedding. Michael was the talk of the night during our reception. My Jamaican family was on the dance floor all night. He knew when to turn it up and dialed it back for more intimate moments. He makes playing favorites tunes during special times super easy using the client portal. Michael didn’t miss a beat, no pun intended. We used Michael Roos from True DJs of Dallas for our wedding. He was fantastic! From the start he was super professional and personable. He helped us plan our timeline of the entire wedding, and gave us fantastic ideas on how to maximize the flow of the wedding reception. He gave us ideas that we did not think or know to ask, even ideas our wedding planner did not bring up. Some of his ideas included the best way to time when to give the speeches, as well as the wording used to ask our parents for their first dance! This was all info that was separate from his true position of being our DJ! He was truly the best MC.
