Hi. I am Jason Panman Roseman, a Trinidad-born steel drummer living in beautiful Rhode Island. As a third-generation steel band musician my life has been consistently immersed in the art of steel drumming and making of the beautiful steel drum musical instrument. My father, Joseph, was a pioneer of the steel band, and it is from him I developed a deep love and appreciation for everything steel band.

I am a seasoned performer and entertainer on steel drums; I’ve worked in the cruise industry with lines like Crown and Cunard and performed at many events and weddings in the US. I’ve also traveled extensively to places like Europe, Central America and Africa bringing steel drum music far and wide. I’ve produced several CD recordings that are available on numerous streaming platforms also.

With Tropical Gems Entertainment, I collaborate with musicians I’ve meet during my years in the music industry, to present top-quality musical entertainment for my customer’s events.
