Owner Jay Raven, has been working in radio entertainment since 1995. He has hosted, created and produced events with as few as 30 to as many as 50,000 guests. As an emcee, Jay has announced and hosted events at the Xfinity Theatre, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Boston Garden, the XL Center, arenas and stadiums as well as booked, promoted and DJ'd at many of the premiere clubs in Boston and Hartford. As a wedding DJ he's performed for celebrities, artists and professionals throughout New England.
He is cohost of the syndicated "Anna and Raven Show" heard in over fifty six markets nationwide, and locally on Star 99.9 in Connecticut and WALK 97.5 in New York.
Raven has completed the National Wedding MBA in Las Vegas three times, trained with the creator of The Knot Carley Roney and CEO of WeddingWire Timothy Chi, representatives of Chauvet Lighting and other renowned manufacturers, and shared ideas with celebrity wedding coordinator David Tutera on the radio. He won the Hartford Advocates Best Morning Show Award the same year Total Events was inducted into The Knot’s Best of Weddings Hall of Fame.
