Working with Tim was amazing!!! Having had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, we were scrambling to replan our wedding from across the country in 2021 when California finally relaxed guidelines for weddings. Once we chose to work with Tim, we chatted with him to explain what we were going for (a San Francisco museum wedding with less posed, more in-the-moment photos) and he beyond delivered. Right away, we could tell Tim was our type of person (my husband and I don't take ourselves seriously, so it was important to us to feel like we could goof off with our photographer and be ourselves). Day of the wedding, when we officially met Tim in person, we knew he was the right photographer for us. Beyond his amazing personality, his skills as a photographer are incredible. We ended up having a bunch of fog roll in on our early October wedding day, obstructing the view of Golden Gate we hoped to have for our outdoor ceremony. Even though the bridge didn't end up being visible, Tim found creative ways to work with the weather that day to deliver awesome shots we love. In some photos, light just manages to peek through the trees, creating really stunning lighting moments. In others, the eerieness of the fog surrounds us, causing a cool moody effect fitting of a fall wedding. We don't even miss the bridge shots we'd hoped to get; that's how much we love our photos. Do not hesitate to choose Tim for your special day!

Tim is not only a superb photographer, but he's a joy to work with! Easygoing, but professional. Silly, but seriously talented. He listened to what was important to us and he delivered tenfold! We're in love with our photos, and so are our families and friends. We especially appreciated that we didn't need to call Tim over to capture the fun, little moments; he knew where to be and when! We loved working with Tim Halberg for our wedding! He was fun, friendly, and easy to work with right from the start. This was super important as we were not only working with a professional, but someone that we could relate to like a good friend. This made us much more comfortable on the wedding day too! I couldn’t be happier that we had chosen Tim as our wedding photographer. We had hired him for both the wedding and a day-after shoot in Yosemite. All the photos were absolutely beautiful, the colors spot on, many of them really looked like works of art (you can see many on his instagram). Both my husband and I are a bit camera shy, but from the moment we met him on the wedding day, he made us and everyone in the wedding party feel extremely comfortable. Everything just felt so easy, there was never any stress, the entire experience was fun. I had been a bit anxious about the day-after shoot (hiking 30min in a wedding dress? Bad weather in the forecast) but he had clearly done this so many times and made it very easy and seamless for us. I love his attitude about “bad” weather (thunderclouds? Storms? Even better! We’ll get great photos!), and I think that this kind of positivity and confidence takes a lot of stress away from the couple.

My wife and I got married at Arista Winery in June 2019, and Tim photographed our wedding. We looked at more than a handful of potential photographers, and Tim was the clear winner. His naturalistic photos are beyond stunning, and he blended in perfectly with our family and friends, capturing all of the important moments without over-inserting himself or his team. All of Tim's pre- and post-wedding communications were timely and professional, and he had no problem coordinating with our event planner and videographer. We cannot recommend Tim highly enough!

Tim is THE MAN!!! He was so easy and accommodating to work with right from the start! He took the time and effort to get to know my husband and I and everything we were hoping to achieve with our engagement and wedding day photos! He was prompt and and among all of the little things us brides worry about on our wedding day, Tim took all that stress away and made it all about having fun and taking all of the photos we hoped and dreamed of! He made sure that my husband and I got the pics we wanted with all family members, friends and all the little details of our special day! Tim photographed our wedding in Sonoma and he was fantastic! He captured so many amazing candid shots that were very special. Looking through the pictures he really told a story. I felt that the wall art was a must and I never tire of looking at our beautiful photos on the dining room wall. He has a great personality, he’s very witty and we highly recommend him!

We loved working with Tim! He was able to provide insight on the best places to take pictures in Yosemite, and we ended up getting shots we never thought were going to be possible. He was also great at suggesting new locations that we wouldn’t have thought of, and he was just a great guy to spend the day with. Tim photographed my daughter's wedding two weekends ago. He was very professional. He never got in the way but still managed to get the shots that were needed.

Tim was amazing! My husband and I had such a great time working with him. He is really comfortable to be around. He is there when you need him and blends in like one of the guests when you don’t. He gently directed us and made us both feel really comfortable in front of the camera. He was down to going out in the freezing cold and take pictures while we played in knee deep snow. Everything felt natural even the posey pictures. We were happy with whole experience. We had a really small wedding and all of our guest couldn’t stop saying what a great time they had with him.
