Definitely time and money well spent! This woman right here became my new bestie! Our first meeting was perfect, as if it was meant to be. Everything was delicious when we did our tasting with her that I wish we could've did a tasting every month because of it! She is energetic, funny, and such a happy person that has a talent for cooking. Our guests loved the food and her staff even helped with the cake cutting. Thank you so much for being a wonderful part of our day. I would definitely hire you again!

I had a beautiful outdoor wedding and Thyme Well Spent created a beautiful spread of food! We did a BBQ buffet with ribs, pulled pork, chicken, beans, homestyle rolls, 2 kinds of salad, mac and cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, fresh fruit, lemonade and iced tea! They showed up on time for the event. They were extremely polite and quick with refilling things and asking me if everything was okay. The food was AMAZING. Multiple people commented on how good the food was. I couldn't have asked for me. The only reason I took off half a star in a couple places is because Chantel scheduled me for the food tasting at my house and I hadn't officially made it on her schedule and she didn't show. She was extremely apologetic and was able to come just a couple days later. A small inconvenience but was made up for with the results on the big day. Hire this company, they are the best price and most amazing food! Thousands cheaper than everywhere else I looked and by far the biggest menu!

Great value and food, could use a bit more organization

We had a wonderful experience working with Chantelle for my wedding in July 2019! She actually catered my twin sister's wedding a month earlier (June 2019), and it was a joy to work with her for both my sister's wedding and my own. She is such a creative and kind person and was flexible in our menu selection (the salmon was delicious, and the spinach salad with candied flowers both looked and tasted amazing!) and creating unique beverage options to match the theme of our day.

Things went smoothly for the most part, although there were a few concerns with organization such as a mix up with serving dessert (we ordered ice cream and I think the staff weren't fully informed on their role in serving it; my parents ended up having to help serve in order to get dessert out in a timely manner. My parents are generous people who enjoy serving others so fortunately it wasn't a big deal, but something to consider if you really want your wedding to go off without a hitch.) Food was plentiful, but at my sister's wedding they ran out of alcohol at one point and had to get some more (we may have given a too-low estimate of how many people would drink, as a larger-than-normal percentage of our friends are non-drinkers).

I researched a lot of wedding caterers as I was on a fairly tight budget but wanted to provide good food for my ~120 guests. Catering is one of the more pricey parts of a wedding esp with that many guests, but Chantelle offered the most variety for my price range (who knew I'd be able to afford two entree options that weren't just chicken and pasta!) and was a pleasure to work with. Overall a fantastic experience and I would definitely work with her again!

Great value, great service,

Chantelle was fantastic to work with and you won’t find better value for a wedding catering. We had her for both our rehearsal dinner (for 30) and wedding (for 180). The Italian option for the rehearsal was fantastic. Unfortunately at the wedding, we chose the holiday menu and both the “prime rib” (was not prime rib) and salmon were well done and we were pretty specific about wanting both medium rare - we received a few complaints about this even though people were being polite. We were expecting prime rib and sockeye salmon, but instead we weren’t really sure what meat or salmon we got for our wedding. Also missing was butter for rolls and a small amount of vegetarian entree, as requested. The sides and salads we chose were all fantastic and held up to the standard of the rehearsal dinner and our original tasting. Overall I would still recommend working with Chantelle especially if you are looking for quality food on a budget.

We hired Thyme Well Spent for our wedding and the rehearsal dinner. We put our numbers at the wedding 110 and about 75 people actually showed up. The quantities were on the low side. At the rehearsal dinner, we had to make an extra salad, but the entrees were enough. At the wedding, we ran out of appetizers very quickly, and had to put out our own food we had brought to eat while we set up in order to supplement the appetizers during cocktail hour. The quality of the food we ate during a taste test was much higher quality that the food that was actually served at the wedding. We really enjoyed Chantel when we met her at the tasting, but we did not see Chantel at the rehearsal dinner or the wedding and this was not communicated before the events. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know. The staff that arrived to serve the food were not aware that they were suppose to help with serving cake, even though this had been agreed upon before hand. My maid of honor had to make sure the staff stayed for the cake cutting, and then they didn't cut and serve the second sheet cake -- my maid of honor and aunt had to do this. The prices quoted are very tempting, but if you don't want to gamble on your wedding day be careful about hiring.
