Our wedding was exactly what we envisioned. The venue, the guest rooms, the reception room, the beach were all perfect! Indra is simply amazing, super sweet and worked hard to make our day special! Guided us through the process before our wedding, answered all my questions, and the day of was right there making sure everything was as it should be.

The staff at the Thunderbird were some of the kindest people I have ever met! Indra and Jennifer helped from beginning to end in planning my reception at the Sunset Ballroom. They addressed all my needs and they were responsive and professional every bit of the way. When the vendors wanted to visit the venue to see the space before our reception they were there to help with big smiles on their faces. Not only do I feel like I chose the perfect venue overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, I feel like I met some of the most genuine and kindest souls you could ever meet! I highly recommend the Sunset Ballroom at the Thunderbird Beach Resort!

Excellent venue for a limited party of 50 guests. Room was perfect size and coordinated with event planner to make it truly memorable affair

After hurricane Ian took out our original venue, we turned to wedding wire for last minute help in deciding somewhere new to avoid canceling altogether. We found Thunderbird Beach Resort, they did not disappoint. Our wedding and reception turned out better than anticipated. Indra and Mia were the best. They required planning through Truly Yours, in which Gloria and Claudia were godsend. Thank you all for your help in planning and executing our memorable event without a hitch. Forever grateful!

I don't even know where to start! We decided to get married at a mansion in St. Petersburg, FL (a destination wedding) and wanted our friends and family to all stay in the same place for an affordable rate so that our wedding wasn't just a whirlwind weekend, but could also be a vacation. We drove past the Thunderbird a few times, thinking that it would be way too expensive for our guests, since it was directly on the beach. We decided to stop in to check, and met with Missi Woodruff, who informed us that our guests would each get 20% off of their room rate, and the room rates ranged from $101/night to under $200 for the gulf-view suites! PERFECT! So we informed our guests, and booked up 45 of the 106 rooms for our wedding weekend. Guests started arriving Thursday and Friday, and were able to get to know each other at the pool and Ikki WooWoo's Tiki bar prior to our wedding on Sunday. It is the most laid back and accommodating hotel! They helped us put gift baskets in each of our guests' rooms, helped us with our Trolley sign up sheet, allowed us to host our rehearsal dinner, and accommodated us for a Monday morning brunch for our guests! Missi was such a pleasure to work with and we will continue going to the Thunderbird for years to come - many of our guests are already talking about returning as well! It was exactly what we were looking for for our wedding weekend :)

Indra was awesome to work with, and the staff went over and above to make sure we had what we needed, especially the day of the wedding! Our guests loved the atmosphere, especially the music and Tiki Bar, the beach wasn’t crowded, and made a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony!
