Patti knocked it out of the park with our wedding flowers. She was so thorough during our initial meeting, asking questions we hadn't even thought about and helping us to visualize everything. One of our guests said her husband, who rarely notices details, even commented on how beautiful our flowers were. Patti's communication and attention to detail throughout the whole process was amazing. I really felt comfortable knowing she would take care of everything. We really couldn't be happier.

I am so glad that I was referred to Patti for my wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden. Before meeting with her I had some idea of my color palette but was not as clear on the details of my florals and decor. She guided me through selecting my florals and pieces of decor that would work with the venue, the season, and even down to the fabric on my dress. The final product was everything I wanted and more. Every floral arrangement and decor detail pulled together our aesthetic. I loved my bouquet so much, that I ended up preserving it in jewelry. I would highly recommend Patti as she was both a pleasure to work with and amazing at what she does!!

Patti totally exceeded my expectations! My first phone call with Patti was really positive, I was a little overwhelmed at the idea of planning a wedding, and she immediately put me at ease by giving me some guidance on some good places to start figuring out design ideas. After our initial phone call, Patti would send me emails of pictures of items in her inventory (chuppah, table numbers, charger plates, candle votives), to help me in selecting items for the wedding. I feel very lucky that Patti was part of the vendor team, she was so pleasant and easy to work with, and very talented. Ultimately, Patti created a real live fairy tale, from the gorgeous chuppah to the warmth of the candle light, the texture and color of the centerpieces (including the cute cocktail hour centerpieces with the white gourds!), and the natural rustic look of the table numbers, it all came together into such an elegant display. The guests were practically fighting each other at the end of the night over who would get to take the centerpieces home. Patti is a talented florist and designer, I can't recommend her highly enough!

Thistle Dew did an OUTSTANDING job from start to finish for my recent wedding in Pacific Beach. We are from Colorado, so our wedding was destination, and Patti was very helpful with all the planning and communication from afar. Patti was very quick to respond to emails and calls, which is huge! Patti really pulled everything together for my wedding from decor, signage, and flowers. She really took my vision, which was sort of all over the place, and created exactly what I imagined, probably even better then I could have imagined. Patti with thistledew made all of my wedding floral dreams come true. I had the hardest time finding a florist that I liked and really felt understood my vision and she went above and beyond and came up with creative ways to make my budget work. She is so sweet and so willing to work with me and I just kept raving about her from the moment I met her. She is extremely experienced and worth EVERY penny.

Patti at Thistle Dew is an unbelievably talented floral designer. As an event professional (& sister to the groom) I work with florists and designers all over the country and Patti was such a pleasure to work with (flexible and understanding) but so very talented. It was a very very hot and humid summer day in Southern California and the flowers not only held up that day, but we were able to enjoy the bouquets for days after the event. If you're looking for more than just "wedding flowers" I highly suggest Patti, she understands AND executes the design elements and idea's that we had dreamed up!

I was referred to Patti by someone who worked at a local horticultural school in San Diego as I was looking for an independent designer or small business owner. My husband and I had a destination wedding on September 5th, 2014 and working with Patti was an absolute dream. She was by far the most professional of all of our wedding vendors and went above and beyond in every aspect. Patti was the only vendor that we did not experience a single issue with. She responded to my emails in a timely manner and was always available to offer suggestions.

Patti really cares about her clients and it shows in her work. When I arrived at our ceremony and reception, I was completely and utterly blown away. Patti had single-handedly brought to life my vision in a way that made my mother say that our reception felt like us. For my husband who was less able to visualize beforehand, he thought that her work was impeccable. Patti's beautiful arrangements made our outdoor rustic venue look polished. It was stunning and she was able to work her magic on my budget. She didn't scoff at us for having a budget or complain. She just made it happen.
