The Wright People

The Wright People is a Washington, DC-based business that offers staffing, event management, and planning/consulting services for wedding catering. Owner Rick Wright founded this enterprise in October 1996 with a single goal: to offer high-end staffing for caterers and venues. Soon he was getting requests from private clients for staff for their events where caterers weren't being used, rather the client was providing the food. From there it grew to the point where most of TWP's business is private clients with a large percentage being weddings. Joined by his daughter Tara Wright and a seasoned team, Rick offers services in the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas.

Services Offered

Wedding service with The Wright People includes servers for a couple's dining and bartenders for their bar service, as well as event supervisors to keep everything running smoothly. This team will set up a client's event, serve wedding fare, and break down and clean up afterward. Couples may expect properly attired and well-groomed staff to assist them and their vendors on their special day. This team has decades of experience in providing clients with the personnel needed to make their festivities truly remarkable.

Cuisine

The Wright People have experience catering for a wide variety of culinary styles, including classic American, barbecue, French, and local specialties. They also are familiar with pork-free, halal, and kosher dietary requirements. Additionally, the bartenders on staff may pour beverages for couples and their guests, whether a champagne toast or a signature cocktail.
