WOW ! We had such an incredible wedding experience and it quite honestly could not have been any better ! Our wedding coordinator Kristen Tomasic was seriously the most talented individual that I have met and she was so supportive throughout the entire event from start to finish. Anything we needed she helped out with . The most important thing is that my wife and I felt so comfortable because we new Kristen was there the entire time.

• The Westin Michigan Avenue did an amazing job with our reception. I would choose them all over again. It was a night we will never forget. Phyllis Washington, the wedding coordinator, made it so that we had no worries or stress about the big day. She helped us through the planning process and answered any questions that we had along the way. She was amazing to work with. They provided us with great rooms to get ready in on different floors so that we would not see each other and great breakfast treats the morning of our wedding. The cocktail hour had AMAZING food and was held in a different room. We had our reception in the Michigan Ballroom which overlooked Michigan Avenue. It was stunning. The food and service was impeccable. We have gotten so many compliments and recently engaged friends are even looking to have their receptions there now because of how wonderful the Westin was. I would recommend the Westin Michigan Avenue for any special occasion! Awesome venue and service.

My wife and I just had our wedding at The Westin Michigan Avenue and as a venue they were absolutely PERFECT! We worked with Bethany Reno and she was a perfect fit for us from the start. She was so sweet, patient, flexible and just amazing to coordinate with. She did everything she possibly could to make our experience the best it could be.

The wedding day went smoothly and just as planned. When we walked into the room we were both blown away by how gorgeous everything was. Then we were impressed by the level of service we received and I can't even count how many compliments we received on our dinner selections. The food was just incredible.

With a room full of windows overlooking Michigan Avenue and staff that gave you their undivided attention you cannot go wrong with this venue!

Phyllis Washington worked with us throughout the entire planning process to make sure everything would be perfect. Our menu tasting was spectacular and we were blown away by both the service and the food. Phyllis was right there with us making suggestions for several of the dishes. She was always available by email and phone, and wasn't at all phased by my never ending requests. She organized our room block and made sure everyone got a great rate no matter how many days they were staying. When we were several hundred dollars away from meeting our F&B minimum, she arranged to add a sweets table which was a huge hit with our guests. She booked the same ballroom for our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and arranged to have the door locked over night so we could set up and store all of our stuff.

The day of our wedding, everyone at the Westin was so helpful and so friendly. Christine was assigned to our event, and from what my husband describes she was exceptional. She helped with set up and even came to the rescue when one of our centerpiece vases broke and we needed super glue. During cocktail hour the Westin staff (with direction from our DOC) changed over the ballroom for the reception, adding a dance floor, removing the portable air wall, and arranging all the tables quickly and quietly. While I was lucky enough to not witness any of this, my sister told me they did a wonderful job.

Phyllis upgraded us to the presidential suite for our wedding night, which was amazing. when we arrived in our room after the reception, there was a bottle of champagne and a platter of berries waiting for us with a card from Phyllis. All our presents and cards were also there, as well as my bouquet which had been placed in water.

I highly recommend the Westin for a stress-free wedding planning experience and a beautiful wedding. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about Phyllis, Christine, or the Westin.

We decided on the Westin Michigan Avenue for our wedding reception venue in February 2013. We set our date for September 14th, 2013 and the entire staff was great to work with for all seven months. My wife and I live outside of the state, but the team at the Westin was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process of coordinating the event. A special hats off must be noted for Phyllis Washington, the Catering Sales Manager that we worked with in planning the reception. She was flexible in working with us, offered valuable insight into top vendors to help in the area, and went above and beyond in executing the event on the big day. The staff at the Westin was truly exceptional in decorating the Grand ballroom and foyer - with little guidance, the rooms looked better than we could have imagined. Our guests also raved about the menu that the chef prepared - the beef tenderloin, striped bass, and vegetarian dishes were all big hits! I must also share that the service staff made the bride and I feel so special on our big day, but also went out of their way to show each and every guest a great time (the bartenders that serviced the bars at our wedding were awesome!)! Every staff member that we encountered were kind hearted and honest in their well wishes. They made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stays. I would feel very comfortable giving the Westin Michigan Avenue a five star review for their efforts in making our wedding an incredible event to remember forever!

Great venue - took excellent care of us. A bit pricy, but the service and flexibility made it worth while. Our coordinator Mallory was a dream come true.

The Westin is a wonderful event to hold a wedding at. Location was amazing and the staff was incredible. I didn't get to eat too much, but what i did eat tasted great. The entire staff was professional and made planning our wedding easy. They also thought of some little things (i.e. how to place the chairs for the ceremony) in a more "classy" way then just straight lines. Very easy to work with and made for a wonderful wedding weekend!
