We were just married this Saturday and had our reception at the Waybury Inn, and it could not have been more perfect. There were so many little details that they handled for us in planning and the day of, that I would not have even thought of! They are truly experts. All of the staff bent over backwards to make everything exceptional. One memory that sticks out in my mind is when the wedding party returned from taking pictures after the ceremony, I mentioned within earshot of one of the staff that I was hungry, having not eaten all day due to nerves, and within seconds there were 4 different waitstaff offering me hors d'oeuvres! Our families stayed at the Inn all weekend too, which was fun, and the rooms were amazing. I would also like to add that we planned this wedding from a distance- from Long Island- and certainly could not have done it without the Waybury's help and attention to detail. The week before the wedding I emailed the Inn probably 10 times, with last minute details, and they responded within an hour every time. The food was as always, delicious, and so many guests commented to me about how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The cake was also BEAUTIFUL- Chef Donna made it herself onsite, and was able to create a gorgeous cake with lemon curd and local strawberries! If I could do it all again I would absolutely choose the Waybury, and we will most definitely be back for anniversaries!
