About Our Venue

More than just a library, Wagnalls offers people in the Columbus area with a unique destination to hold their most important events. We offer a variety of unique rooms varying in style and size to accommodate different needs and budgets. Our signature events are held in the historic Wagnalls Library building, a Tudor-gothic-style manner that’s reminiscent of the Medieval Revival period. Both the interior and exterior of the building offer stunning features that provide an authentic experience and a myriad of uncommon historical photo opportunities.

We are having my bridal shower here and it is absolutely perfect. The venue itself has multiple areas for a wedding, reception, shower, or any other type of event. My shower will be held in the loft area, which has beautiful stained glass windows and an open window over looking the library (which is perfect seeing that my wedding theme is books!). The outside of Wagnalls is absolutely stunning. It may be a library, but on the outside it looks like a medieval castle in the middle of a small, quaint town. The staff is extremely friendly and so easy to work with; I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to hold any type of event.

The location is beautiful! A loft overlooking a massive stained glass window and antique chandeliers - oh, and books!

There is a lovely outdoor garden area with a stone trellis and hearth for a ceremony (weather permitting - it is Ohio, afterall).
