The Athletic Club of Columbus was a perfect venue for our wedding. The ballroom is stunning and does not need any extra decorations. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The bowling alley in the basement was the perfect after party experience. My only complaint is that the night went by too fast!

The ACC on wedding day is a dream. The space itself is beautiful, it gushes with elegance and class. We had the best day of our lives and that is due to the amazing venue and phenomenal workers at the ACC. Kelsey was there with us every step of the way and made sure that our day went perfectly, not once was I asked about something or worried about something for the reception. She was so communicative, responsive, and makes you feel like the most important bride. Andy and the bartenders who work the reception go above and beyond. We seriously were so impressed with the alcohol, service, and accommodations that we would recommend those guys every day. Brittney was there throughout the day and made sure everything went smoothly starting early in the morning, there was a coffee station set up for the girls in the suite and the guys had the squash courts booked with coffee service up there. She checked in and set up lunch and cleared everything - she was so thoughtful and sincere and it was wonderful having her smiling face there in the morning and afternoon. Overall, the ACC is the most incredible venue - the staff, the ballroom, the mantle, the staircase, the after party in the basement - it all makes for the most memorable and perfect day of your life. I will recommend the ACC over and over again because it really is a very special place. You will not regret booking your wedding or event here! Get ready for the best day ever!

Just walking into the Athletic Club of Columbus you get the sense of what a top notch venue it is. Lisa Sullivan, the Event Manager, was amazing, as were the staff that assisted us. Lisa had so many good ideas and suggestions. She is kind, personable and made us feel at ease. Her attention to detail and deadlines kept us on track. The food was great and perfectly cooked, which is not expected at most weddings, and the bartenders, waiters and staff kept up with demand, we had 157 guests. The butler passed appetizers and wine at cocktail hour which our guests appreciated. Thom, the banquet manager, made sure that I, as mother of the bride, did not want for anything the day of, and that everything ran smoothly. The dining room was so beautiful. The venue is just gorgeous, so it really saved on floral costs. You don't need a lot of decorations. It oozes charm and sophistication. The place speaks for itself. Our daughter and her friends stayed in the six suites they have and that's where we all had our hair and make up done. My daughter and son-in-law (did I just say son-in-law) chose The Athletic Club of Columbus after looking at 7 venues. What sold them, and me, was the the elegance and beauty of the club, AND the amazing bowling alley downstairs that we used for the after party. What a hit that was for our guests. Darrell, the bowling alley manager, was very attentive, personable and very helpful. They even provided a security guard to walk folks to their cars or hotels. Very thoughtful. Plus, you can get a block of hotel rooms within walking distance. I can't recommend The Athletic Club of Columbus more highly. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I don't have pictures from our photographer yet, but when I do I hope to add them, as the venue is a beautiful backdrop. Teresa Holland

Words simply can't begin to describe the joyful celebration we enjoyed this past weekend at the Athletic Club of Columbus. There was never a need to stress as Emily Knapp was supremely professional and she and the staff helped attend to every detail. In addition to the support, what I thoroughly loved about Emily was that she seemed as excited as any member of our family.

We are having our wedding here in Jan 2017. From the first email Emily Knapp has been a godsend. Her respectfulness of our budget and also our vision has been incredible. She has been there every step of the way, helping us save where we can and helping us navigate what's appropriate for the feel of our wedding. We are so happy we chose the ACC.

I could never write enough about how amazing the ACC was for my wedding. Emily Knapp helped me through every step of the way and made the day go flawlessly. Her energy is wonderful and she is damn good at her job! Every detail was perfect and every issue was nipped in the bud immediately. The ACC staff was EXTREMELY flexible and accommodating to every wish and demand. Everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable.

We were extremely pleased to hold my daughters wedding reception at the Athletic Club of Columbus! Working with Emily Knapp made it even more enjoyable. She answered every question, provided experienced insight and didn't miss a single detail. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience in every way and my daughter had the wedding of her dreams thanks to our selection!

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Athletic Club. We chose to tour the Club not knowing exactly what to expect, and we were floored by how perfect it was! The entire building is classy, elegant, full of charm, and so beautiful! We also loved getting to work with Emily Knapp, our wedding coordinator... She made the entire process so flawless and was a MASSIVE blessing to us! We loved that we were able to get ready + have our ceremony and reception all at the same place. It made it so easy for our wedding party and guests! We also loved that they handled all of the set up, tear down, food (which MANY of our guests have said was the best meal they have every had!), and so many other details. Everyone is kind, professional, organized, and helpful. And we cannot say enough good things about Emily. She truly cared for us, supported our vision, was perfectly organized every step of the way, and had a personality that made her so easy to work with. We would recommend getting married at the ACC to everyone we know... It made our day everything we had ever dreamed it would be!

My husband and I chose the ACC for our venue just about the instant we walked upstairs and saw the beautiful carved wood ceilings in the ballroom. If you are looking for traditional, old world beauty, this place cannot be beat. The staff was also wonderful, and the ACC truly has a gem in Emily Knapp as an event planner. Her cheerful demeanor made every meeting a joy. She is also extremely knowledgeable and competent, asking me questions and prompting me on things I had completely forgotten to consider in the haze of wedding planning. She kept us on track during the planning process and the day of the wedding. I also have received numerous compliments that the food was the best wedding food our guests have ever tasted. We chose the steak and salmon duet, and several people commented on how well the steak tasted and melted in their mouth. We feel completely blessed to have been able to have the ACC as our venue, and the pictures show how beautiful the night was. Most importantly though, we all had FUN. I was able to really enjoy my night thanks to how smoothly everything was run at the ACC. I would highly recommend the ACC, and particularly Emily.
