A one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue that blends historical character with modern day sophistication. Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and millwork, industrial lighting and expansive windows with a unique blend of modern and rustic accents. The Union on Eighth is an urban, industrial wedding venue comfortably nestled on the outskirt of the historic Georgetown Square in Georgetown, Texas, just 20 minutes North of Austin.

The Union offers inclusive packages starting at $13,350. Let us help you make your wedding planning journey a more enjoyable process. We methodically hand selected each Inclusive Package vendor based on years of working with each other within the wedding industry. This is a team of reputable vendors that will treat your wedding like their own, while taking a load off you and leaving your guests in utter awe. It’s not mandatory or required that you use our Inclusive Package, but some may say it’s silly not to!


Facilities and Capacity
The Union features over 6,000 square feet of space. A fully air-conditioned interior space is connected to the exterior courtyard by a large garage door. A separate outdoor cocktail hour area is also tied to the courtyard. These three separate spaces flow comfortably with one another, making it easy for guests to move throughout the property while always feeling a part of the party.

I don’t even have enough good adjectives for The Union!

I feel like I want to write a novel on how amazing The Union on Eighth was, but it was so perfect, I just don’t have the words!! Morghan was by our side from beginning to end, making us feel like friends! The space is so gorgeous, not much decor is even needed!! 10/10. Everyone should get married here. EVERYONE.

Beautiful + Unique Wedding Venue!!! LOVED IT

The Union on Eighth perfectly captures the funk of Austin and charm of Georgetown, TX. It has three spaces to host a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception ... all of which bring their own uniqueness to the space. The team at Union was not just a venue -- they were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. We found some of our best vendors (food, coordinator, etc) through their recommendations. We couldn't be happier to have chosen this venue and team. Union on Eighth made our wedding day memories that much more special!!

Beautiful venue and professional staff

We had a beautiful winter wedding at the Union! We didn’t have a wedding planner the Union has optional all-inclusive packages which made it ten times easier to plan the whole wedding. Morghan was very responsive and helpful!

Perfect Venue for Our Wedding

We knew The Union on Eighth was the place we wanted when we visited. I love the design, which makes decorating easy because it doesn't need to be dressed up that much. We also loved that it was spacious (we had about 150 guests) yet felt intimate. The twinkle lights outside were perfect for our final couples dance! Also, working with The Union team (Katy and Morghan) was professional and easy-going. I'm so glad we got married here!

All Things Natural and Effortless!

Our experience with The Union could not have possibly gone any better! They were incredibly personable and so quick to respond when we first inquired, and our first visit/venue tour was very personal and thorough. We fell in love with it instantly. You could tell they cared deeply about their space both in the way they cherished its history and honored/enhanced the natural beauty of it in the process of renovations. An airstream trailer, climbing vines, exposed wood, incredible bathrooms, beautiful lights- it was a dream. They worked effortlessly with us as well as our coordinator throughout the entire planning process. We were overjoyed to have our wedding in their venue- it was everything we could have wanted!

Absolutely perfect!!!

My husband and I got married here mid June and oh my goodness.... so beautiful!!! Morghan and Katy were phenomenal to work with! They were so helpful to make sure the Union was perfect for our wedding. It is the most gorgeous venue inside and out!! It makes for beautiful pictures and gives off such a romantic feeling. Absolutely perfect!! Highly highly recommend!!

The Union on Eighth had the exact look we were hoping for in regards to our wedding, the minute we saw it we knew it was for us. We wanted simplicity and to take advantage of the natural beauty within the walls of the Union. I have always been a simple person when it comes to floral arrangements and décor – this venue is so naturally stunning with its architectural features and garden feel it truly doesn’t need much. Katy was great to work with! This venue was the perfect size for our wedding – we had about 120 guests and it was easy to work the room to see and talk to everyone. The tables and chairs compliment the space very well. The details are beautiful – even in the bathroom! I highly recommend this venue – top quality and top value! If I could do this day over and over again - I would still choose The Union!

The Union on 8th was perfect for us. It was everything we were looking for in a venue. Cute, historical, industrial but not cold. I was in search of a venue with personality and one that spoke for itself without needing to fill it up with a bunch of decorations. I wanted something that would be the backdrop to my minimalist vibe and the Union was it. Size wise it was perfect as well. We had a small wedding of about 80 people which made it possible to have both the ceremony and dinner inside without having to flip the room. The yard they have is beautiful but I didn't want my guests (or my make up) to melt in the Texas summer heat so we only used it for cocktail hour and for those that wanted to escape the dance floor. The metal doors of the bridal suite made the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. I also was thrilled that it included the wooden chairs and farm tables which are the perfect compliment to the space. All of our guest kept commenting on how unique and cool of a place it was. Katie was super easy to work with and very accommodating of all our needs.

The Union was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful and did not require much to make it romantic at all. Just everything about the venue from the lighting to the structure and all the details was perfectly designed. Our family and friends raved about it for days! Katy, the owner, is an absolute doll to work with! She was very accommodating and responded in a timely manner. I can't imagine my wedding day anywhere else, but here. Plus, Georgetown is such a cute and quaint city. Everyone is so friendly here!
