We had a beautiful winter wedding at the Union! We didn’t have a wedding planner the Union has optional all-inclusive packages which made it ten times easier to plan the whole wedding. Morghan was very responsive and helpful!Union Merchant gtx's reply:

I feel like I want to write a novel on how amazing The Union on Eighth was, but it was so perfect, I just don’t have the words!! Morghan was by our side from beginning to end, making us feel like friends! The space is so gorgeous, not much decor is even needed!! 10/10. Everyone should get married here. We knew The Union on Eighth was the place we wanted when we visited. I love the design, which makes decorating easy because it doesn't need to be dressed up that much. We also loved that it was spacious (we had about 150 guests) yet felt intimate. The twinkle lights outside were perfect for our final couples dance! Also, working with The Union team (Katy and Morghan) was professional and easy-going. I'm so glad we got married here! -

My husband and I got married here mid June and oh my goodness.... so beautiful!!! Morghan and Katy were phenomenal to work with! They were so helpful to make sure the Union was perfect for our wedding. It is the most gorgeous venue inside and out!! It makes for beautiful pictures and gives off such a romantic feeling. Absolutely perfect!! Highly highly recommend!!Union Merchant gtx's reply:

Our experience with The Union could not have possibly gone any better! They were incredibly personable and so quick to respond when we first inquired, and our first visit/venue tour was very personal and thorough. We fell in love with it instantly. You could tell they cared deeply about their space both in the way they cherished its history and honored/enhanced the natural beauty of it in the process of renovations. An airstream trailer, climbing vines, exposed wood, incredible bathrooms, beautiful lights- it was a dream. They worked effortlessly with us as well as our coordinator throughout the entire planning process. We were overjoyed to have our wedding in their venue- it was everything we could have wanted!Union Merchant gtx's reply:

The Union on Eighth perfectly captures the funk of Austin and charm of Georgetown, TX. It has three spaces to host a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception ... all of which bring their own uniqueness to the space. The team at Union was not just a venue -- they were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. We found some of our best vendors (food, coordinator, etc) through their recommendations. We couldn't be happier to have chosen this venue and team. Union on Eighth made our wedding day memories that much more special!! -
Britni Sent on 07/24/2018The Union on Eighth had the exact look we were hoping for in regards to our wedding, the minute we saw it we knew it was for us. We wanted simplicity and to take advantage of the natural beauty within the walls of the Union. I have always been a simple person when it comes to floral arrangements and décor – this venue is so naturally stunning with its architectural features and garden feel it truly doesn’t need much. Katy was great to work with! This venue was the perfect size for our wedding – we had about 120 guests and it was easy to work the room to see and talk to everyone. The tables and chairs compliment the space very well. The details are beautiful – even in the bathroom! I highly recommend this venue – top quality and top value! If I could do this day over and over again - I would still choose The Union!

When we lost our venue due to the property selling, the owners of The Union on Eighth went above and beyond for us to host our wedding day there in less than 4 months. We can't explain enough how professional they were in their business. It was truly a blessing after the drama we went through. The Union was completely different from the garden venue we had but it worked wonderfully with our floral theme. In fact, the venue could host a number of different tastes and still look gorgeous. The lighting inside and out is a photographer's dream. TBH, my favorite part of the venue was the bathroom! So cool! I highly recommend hosting your event with these fine folks. Thanks, you guys!!! <3

Hannah Sent on 10/04/2017My husband and I got married in May at The Union and it exceeded our wildest expectations!! The building is so unique and offered the prettiest backdrop to the best day of our lives. We are so so so happy we picked The Union. Katy was so accommodating throughout the whole process and I can't thank her enough. Every inch of the space is beautiful!! We got so many compliments on the venue, people were in love with the character of the building. I wish we could get married to Nick again so I could dance under those beautiful lights in my dress again!
It might seem a little smaller than the giant cookie-cutter venues we've become accustom to, but the space lends itself to add an intimate feel to your day. We fit over 170 people in the venue and didn't feel squished. The way the space is laid out is perfect for weddings! -

User2029233 Sent on 02/02/2015This venue is absolutely incredible. Not only is the structure and the outdoor courtyard breathtakingly beautiful, but the owner of the venue was a gem to work with. Justin helped us every step of the way and was cool, calm, & collected at all times. We had a wedding reception here in January 2015 on a VERY rainy day - it didn't dampen anything! We had a large band in the facility and Justin really helped us plan the layout etc. I can't thank the venue and all the vendors we had in this amazingly rustic, but modern building. SO so so happy with everything. Anyone would be thrilled to celebrate their big day here. -
Clint Sent on 10/04/2017We knew that the Union on Eighth was perfect for our wedding as soon as we walked in the door. We wanted a unique experience that was classy but also casual and this space fit us to a tee. Working with Katy was easy and we had great flexibility to implement our vision. My wife and I can't recommend Union on Eight enough for your wedding or event as you will not be disappointed.
