The Gallery Room
Offers an inviting space featuring deep olive plastered walls with a hand-dripped glaze, a large-scale iron and rock crystal chandelier, plush sectional sofa, and an antique marble fireplace. This cozy space – ideal for 15-20 people – offers an intimate and sophisticated setting perfect for private events and meetings.

The McRae Room
Perfect for a business meeting or cocktail reception, the McRae room, located on the second floor, offers 638 square feet of event space in downtown Chicago.

The Reed Room
Offers bright, white-washed walls and two custom-designed chandeliers within its 968 square feet of space. This space is ideal for an event with 20 to 80 guests.

We had a wonderful experience using the Talbott as our main hotel for guests as well as hosting the afterparty and brunch for our daughter's wedding. They were extremely flexible, the hotel customer service was beyond outstanding and all the guests loved the vibe and decor of the hotel. The Bridal party spent the entire day of the wedding getting ready in the McRae meeting room which was set up complete with hair and makeup stations, a comfortable living room area and dining area where everyone could enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch. They even brought in a large screen TV so that they could watch the royal wedding since they were married on May 19th. We were able to host our after reception gathering in the lobby bar which was fabulous. Brunch the next morning in the McRea room was also perfect. Many of our guests were able to receive early check in and the hotel bent over backwards to accommodate all of our needs the entire weekend. I would highly recommend staying at the Talbott and hosting any pre or post wedding events there. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with exemplary customer service situated in the heart of Chicago's great restaurants, shopping and Lake Michigan.

The Talbott was a wonderful location to host a cocktail party in honor of our son and new daughter-in-law. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive making sure everything was perfect for us. I highly recommend the Talbott for a a reception or any other event! It was fabulous!

The Talbott provided an excellent home base during our wedding weekend in Chicago. The value is unbeatable given the central location and updated hotel amenities. The catering services were excellent and the space provided to get ready on the day of the wedding was perfect. All of our guests have raved about the hotel! Would recommend to anyone.
