We take your big day seriously and are committed to being there for our clients throughout every step of the way. Wherever your are in the planning process, we help bring your wedding vision to life and sort out every last detail, ensuring your day will be everything you've dreamt it to be.

Experience
The Sweetest Day Weddings & Social Events was founded in 2011, after Candace spent years realizing her passion for event planning. She started out working in the service industry at various hotels and country clubs where she walked away with a wide array of even and service skills. She uses her knowledge of the industry and planning expertise to plan and design Southern California weddings and destination weddings.

Amazing coordinator for a flawless day!

I am so thankful I hired Candace as my day-of coordinator for our wedding. Even though we booked her for "day of" service, she was there every step of the way from the day we booked her (11 months out!). She provided us with an extremely helpful checklist that also worked as a timeline for when we needed to be looking at and booking all the different services. It was very comprehensive and helped ease my anxiety throughout the process, since it helped me set expectations. And as the day drew closer, she was sure to check in on me more frequently, providing helpful feedback and suggestions. Her survey was another helpful tool in figuring out final details, and from it she created an incredible timeline that all my vendors and wedding party found very helpful to know where to be and when. She is so incredibly organized and detail-oriented, exactly what you need for a day that is so bustling and busy. The day of, she kept everyone so organized and focused, all with a super friendly smile that made everyone feel happy and at ease, even as we were being shuffled from place to place. I can't thank her enough for helping us to execute what was literally the best day of our lives.

Absolutely amazing!

I can say I would have never made it through the wedding planning process without Candace! She is extremely professional, she pays attention to detail, and she's also very sweet and personable! She made sure my wedding day was perfect, and did an amazing job of pulling everything together. Do yourself a favor and hire Candace as your wedding planner!

Excellent experience!

I can’t say enough great things about The sweetest Day wedding and events. Candace will go above and beyond for you and make sure your special day is exactly what you’ve dreamed about. We didn’t even have to worry about anything, Candace just handled it all and it was so nice to have that peace of mind. Also she was excellent at keeping everyone involved with knowing what was going on by email and text. We would definitely use her a million times over!

Candace is the one of the sweetest people alive!

My husband and I recently had our wedding and Candace was the amazing coordinator behind our wedding planning. We got married on March 2, 2019 and thanks to Candace, we had a BEAUTIFUL wedding . We were originally going to hire her only for the Day of wedding planning but we went ahead and hired her to help us put our vision board together. I have no regrets whatsoever ! Candace is truly an angel and goes above and beyond. I felt that she planned our wedding as if were her own because of all the attention, dedication and love she put into our wedding. I am SO HAPPY we hired Candace! I am a very particular and picky person and my husband works the banquet arena so I knew planning a wedding was going to be a challenge. We were nervous in giving someone complete trust in planning our wedding but after meeting Candace I just felt a connection. She saved my life more than once. She was there through every little issue or drama in the process of planning our wedding . She never once made me feel pressured or obligated to do anything. She definitely understands the issue people go through when planning a wedding. She definitely went above and beyond what we hired her for . Always super sweet, funny and hardworking. Candace knows her stuff and you can tell she loves what she does because of all the attention she puts in planning your event. We highly recommend her . Candace was dedicated, hardworking, and professional . Candace was more than a coordinator to us, we love her. Amiga, keep up the amazing work. We will hire her for our next event.

Candace is the Best!

I am so glad that I found Candace to help me with my wedding. Even though it was a small, at home affair, I would have never pulled it off without her. Candace is so easy to work with. She is professional and so organized but I really felt as though I had a dear friend helping me. It was so easy and enjoyable to work with her. The vendors that she recommended were outstanding! The florist, singer/DJ and caterer all did an amazing job. Candace took care of every detail, going above and beyond my expectations. I need to plan another event just so I can work with her again! Candace is, without a doubt, the best at what she does!

All You Need is Candace!

Where to begin ... I simply cannot imagine my perfect wedding without Candace. She entered our world two months before our wedding and was the biggest help in SO many ways. Her professionalism, organization, communication and planning is unmatched. Upon our first meeting I felt all stress disappear. She knows exactly what needs to be done, and she makes sure it happens. She is always three steps ahead of you and as she did for me, assures you that she'll take care it all so you can enjoy your wedding. It couldn't have been more true. She is a wedding planner magician and I will sincerely miss working with her! I would use her one million times over and cannot recommend her enough. Do yourself the biggest favor and hire Candace for your big day - she made our wedding dreams come true!

Candace: The Best

I cannot imagine that any wedding coordinator could do a better job than Candace did at my daughter's wedding yesterday. She immediately responded to every email I sent her. She took over jobs that I expected to do myself. She was SUPER organized and managed a large wedding party at a difficult venue (beach ceremony, procession to the reception, shuttles to and from town, etc.) flawlessly. Within 15 minutes after the wedding, she and her helper had everything we'd brought to the venue (including a surfboard, 100 vases filled with flowers and water that I told her I needed to reuse the next day, framed photos and signs, easels, etc.) repackaged and ready for us to take home. She made this occasion joyful and perfect. She was a godsend.

Choose Candace For Your Wedding!

We just had our wedding with Candace and she went above and beyond our expectations.
Candace really knows her stuff and will do anything in order to make your day extra special. Originally we hired her for week of coordination, but she made herself available for more than that week to help get the day organized. She called all vendors and organized everything to make scheduling easy and also helped us ask the right questions that i would have never thought of.
On our wedding day, we were expecting rain and wanted to have our wedding outside. She tried her best to work with the venue in order to make it possible.
Candace knows a good mix of giving her thoughts but also allowing us to make our own decisions. She's very patient and never once appeared to be frustrated. In fact even though it's her business, she still seems to be so enchanted by weddings.
We would definitely recommend her to all our future friends' weddings because of her passionate character as well as her unbeatable prices.
We love Candace and don't second guess on hiring her because SHE IS THE ONE!

I have 4 heroes: Jesus, My new Wife, My Parents and CANDACE. I was one of those people that thought you don’t really need a wedding coordinator but let me tell you… hire Candace now! O you think you are organized and have an idea of what you wedding will be like? Doesn’t matter hire Candace. O you are going to have a small wedding and there is not much to plan? Doesn’t matter hire Candace. O you have life problems that you need help with…Can’t hire candace for that but she will help you with those problems. Not sure if it’s a millennial thing or a Korean-American thing (Yes, Candace goes cross cultures), but we had our ceremony in one location and then 2 different receptions all in the same day. Candace was only responsible for the ceremony and 1 reception but she always went over and beyond and even made sure everything was in order for the 2nd reception. Talk about bang for your buck! She is one of the most organized people that I have ever met. She would give a breakdown of the entire schedule minute by minute and anytime we changed our minds (even last minute, literally the day before) she whipped out another perfectly planned schedule with the changes. There are so many good things to say about Candace and her team. We were ordering appetizier and the vendors were so busy the only available time slots they had were earlier in the day or later in the night. We ended up splitting our order so that the appetizer could come on the time and the cake (Which we also ordered from the same company) could come a later. We had to pay 2 delivery fees and the food would have been cold and sitting out for 3 hours. But then Candace came in the picture. Somehow, someway, Candace got these guys to come at the perfect time in one delivery so that our food was warm and on time while the cake was cool and looked perfect. If you don’t believe in miracles, hire candace, she’ll make you a believer. I am sure that there are many coordinators you can hire but candace is the best.

Where to begin?

Candace is amazing! I naively decided to get married in a 3 month time frame. Candace was there for me throughout all the ups and downs. Originally planning something simple with a taco truck and plastic folding chairs to an event with full catering and chiavari chairs. Of course there were hiccups along the way, my makeup girl canceled on me, Candace swooped in with an great referral. Two weeks before my wedding I had floweriest issues, Candace was there to help bounce off ideas and get my wedding looking great, she even picked up my flowers in 117 degree heat. My ring bearer was probably too young to have this responsibility, Candace was there walking him through and he did fantastic! Most importantly, the day of my wedding she was fantastic! Of course everyone should expect issues to happen the day of, if that did happen at my wedding, I didn't notice because Candace and her assistant dealt took care of it. I was able to spend time with my guests and enjoy the day.

Candace is a hard worker, level headed, and has great energy. She was my angel, I don't know what I've would done without her help. Thank you Candace!
