The Last Rose Weddings

We hired Sam to help out at rehearsal and all day wedding day! She was amazing. She knew what we needed before we even knew. She was so thoughtful and was great to have around, all my bridesmaids loved her. While she was with us all day, she ensured to capture all the little moments on my phone so I had pictures to see immediately the next day. She even surprised us with taking videos of our guests wishing us well. Truly cannot recommend her more!

Our 8.21.26 wedding in Old Towne Orange (CA) was a DREAM, thanks to the SUPERIOR work of Sam.

Naturally, the wedding planning process can be extremely stressful. My wife and I were put in contact with Sam through a recommendation by our photographer who had overwhelmingly positive things to say about her. From the initial introductory phone call, we immediately felt Sam's warm and positive "vibe." After exploring two other potential wedding coordinators, we decided to fully commit to working with Sam for our DREAM wedding.

During the months and weeks leading up to the big day, Sam was very accessible and communicative via text, phone call, and email. We had many questions and indecisiveness about various items such as the wedding timeline, floor plan layout, and table decorations, to name a few. Sam respectfully provided her opinions without "forcing" them upon us. Additionally, she did not make any "judgement" whatsoever on any of the details that my wife and I decided on. It was VERY evident to us from the get-go, that she has PROVEN experience in the wedding planning industry.

On the day of the wedding, Sam showed up EARLY and with a POSITIVE and ENCOURAGING attitude, which eased our nerves. She was constantly checking in on us, asked how we were feeling in the moment, and always made sure we stayed hydrated with water during this emotional (and extremely warm) day.

For the decorations, Sam followed our instructions "to a T" and even arranged the hurricanes, candles, and framed photos in a way that looked AMAZING for the photographer.

One "surprise" that was not part of our initial vision, but proved to be absolutely amazing was the old-fashioned phone recording device that allowed our guests to leave audio messages to us. My wife and I had some good laughs hearing the funny and sentimental messages from our guests. These audio messages captured a moment in time that we will cherish forever.

Overall, we are EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to Sam and @thelastroseweddings for making our dream day happen WITHOUT ANY FLAWS. We CANNOT RECOMMEND SAM ENOUGH to any couple out there who is navigating the wedding planning process. It is a very stressful, yet rewarding experience, and you will be in PERFECT HANDS with Sam.

They say, "You only get married (for the first time) once," so make sure that you work with a TRUSTED PROFESSIONAL in the industry. And for us, that is Sam.

Sam is the best! I recently photographed a wedding that she planned, and everything went without a hitch! She was easy to work with from the beginning, flexible, responsive, and such a friendly and positive face on the actual wedding day. She's super organized, bubbly, and made a production that is a wedding day look easy and seamless. She was super helpful to me as a photographer because she helped me move things along timeline-wise and was great and anticipating what I needed as a vendor. Most planners don't take the time to do that, so it was super refreshing and helpful! Above and beyond! The couple had an amazing day, everything was on time, and just SEAMLESS! What more could we need?!

Sam was a lifesaver!!! After a not-so-good experience with my original wedding coordinator.... Sam was recommended to us, and saved the day! She made everything leading up to the day and the wedding day itself completely stress free. She thought of and was prepared for everything. From the ceremony rehearsal... to stained bridesmaid dresses... to our diet coke tower... she killed it all! Not a single thing went wrong. From the very beginning, Sam was incredible. She guided my daughter through the entire wedding planning process, offering thoughtful suggestions, creative options, and expert advice that helped bring her vision to life. She truly listened to what my daughter wanted and worked tirelessly to make every detail come together perfectly.

What impressed us most was how much Sam genuinely cared. She was always responsive, organized, and willing to help, even with things that weren't technically part of her responsibilities. She went above and beyond, even allowing my daughter to borrow décor items she had available, which was such a generous and thoughtful gesture.

On the wedding day, Sam made everything feel effortless. As the moms, we were able to fully enjoy every moment instead of worrying about timelines, vendors, or last-minute details. She handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and grace, relieving us of all stress and allowing us to focus on celebrating with our family and friends.

My daughter had the wedding of her dreams, and Sam played a huge role in making that happen. She is organized, efficient, talented, caring, and simply amazing at what she does. We are so grateful for everything she did and would highly recommend The Last Rose Weddings to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who truly goes above and beyond.

I truly cannot thank Sam enough for all the hard work, time, care, and love she poured into making my wedding day so seamless and stress free. I met with her about 10 months before my wedding, and at that point I was starting to feel overwhelmed because I had barely planned anything. From the very beginning, Sam immediately made me feel at ease.

She came fully prepared with everything I could possibly need including wedding budget templates, welcome guides, decor lists, photoshoot lists, timelines, and so many thoughtful details all organized in an easy to access shared Google Drive. She thought of the smallest things that I never would have considered until the last minute, and that alone took such a huge weight off my shoulders.

One of my favorite things about Sam is that she was ALWAYS genuinely excited for me. She brought such positive energy to every meeting and made the entire planning process feel exciting instead of stressful. I also appreciated how honest and experienced she was when giving feedback on decor, ideas, and what works best for weddings. You can truly tell how passionate and knowledgeable she is about what she does.

She consistently communicated with all my vendors and the venue, which made such a difference not only for me, but for my entire family and bridal party. Wedding planning should be a joyful season of life, and Sam made sure it stayed that way. She attended meetings with me, sent inspiration ideas constantly, kept everything organized, and always made me feel supported.

And then came the wedding day itself, and wow. Sam was absolutely incredible. She guided the bridal party, kept everything running on schedule, communicated with vendors and the venue, made sure I stayed hydrated and ate, and most importantly made me feel calm, supported, and fully present. My family and I were able to genuinely enjoy the day without being pulled in a million directions, which was exactly what I hoped for.

As a full time working mom, having Sam by my side throughout this process meant more than I can explain. She took so much stress and responsibility off my hands and turned my vision into something even more beautiful than I imagined. I truly do not know how I would have done it without her.

If you are debating hiring a coordinator or planner, do it. Having someone like Sam is absolutely priceless when planning such an important and memorable day.

If you are reading this because you are looking to hire a wedding planner. STOP LOOKING AND HIRE SAM. I had her as my day-of coordinator and have ZERO regrets. She picked up all the planning about a month and a half before my wedding and she could not have stepped in at a better time. That last couple of months before your wedding is a tornado of payment deadlines and vendor meetings. No matter how organized you are, it is A LOT to keep track of. Sam helped make sure all my deadlines were met and picked up all the last-minute things that I hadn’t even thought of. She was able to provide great vendor recommendations for a couple of things I hadn’t checked off my list. I am the type of person that finds things easier if I do it myself and it’s difficult for me to ask for help. However, I quickly realized that I could ask Sam anything and trust that she would get it done. She was always available and responsive via text, call or email.
Not only did I find her easy to work with, but my family and guests all made a point to compliment her work ethic and warm personality. Sam means business and does it was the brightest smile on her face! My wedding didn’t feel stressful or rushed at all. Everyone had a great time at my wedding and it wouldn’t have been that way if we didn’t have Sam and her amazing team.

sam was such a blessing on our wedding day. she made me feel completely comfortable, cared for, and genuinely heard every step of the way. her warmth, positivity, and calm presence meant more to me than she’ll ever know. one moment I’ll always remember is her handing me my iced matcha right after we walked back up the aisle — such a tiny gesture, but it showed how deeply she paid attention to what I would say and how much she cared. she met every need with so much heart, and went above and beyond for us, and I’m so grateful for her. highly highly recommend her to anyone.🤎

Sam was truly a lifesaver from start to finish. As someone that never makes decisions, she was soooo helpful in making sure everything got done in a timely manner. We couldn’t have had the perfect wedding without her. She helped us with the venue, the cake tasting, the decorating, you name it - she can do it.
