Located in Lake Wales, Florida, The Sugar Barn at Flying Osceola Ranch is a picturesque event venue designed for weddings and nuptial celebrations. It is a lovely and private location with its ceremonial canopy of Spanish moss covered oaks, it’s long bridge over the spring fed pond and the 7600sq ft barn. This barn was designed with all the features a couple would need including a “rain” option inside, under the 8’ crystal chandelier.

We offer complete venue decor rentals with a full package of amenities included and a Preferred Vendor package to make your planning simple. Here at the Sugar Barn, we work with a selected team of Preferred Vendors that we offer to you helping to make your wedding planning simplier and seamless. You may use your own vendors and we are here to assist you if you need referrals.

Upcoming Wedding

We have not yet had our wedding here, it is April of next year. But so far we are already so in love with this venue and the people who own it. Bill and Taber have been extremely helpful and flexible from giving us tours to helping us pick a wedding date that was perfect for us. They are so personable while remaining professional and I cannot wait to have our wedding here. The venue itself is already so gorgeous, with an amazing lush green and oak tree filled backdrop. It’s secluded enough to where you don’t hear background noise, but is still accessible and easy to get to. Bill and Taber answered so many questions I had without me even having to ask them. Bill is able to have a rustic wedding-feel, while still being compliant; everything built is handicap accessible, which allows more of my family to come and feel comfortable. They also have great options in case of inclement weather, putting us at ease in case there is a Florida rain storm. I would highly suggest this place to anyone wanting a rustic wedding!

Breathtaking Location for our perfect day

The Sugar Barn truly is a magical and breathtaking venue that allowed us to get lost in the moment of our special day. Bill helped us feel like family and allowed us to feel like we were at that every time we visited and especially on the big day, we were making memories that we will carry forever. We are deeply and forever grateful to the entire Sugar Barn team and all that they did for us! Highly recommend gojng and taking a clothe and seeing it in person because it’s a completely different experience in person than in any photo

Excellent!

Had our wedding at the Sugar Barn this past weekend!!! The property is beautiful and we received endless compliments on how pretty everything was. It is a great family owned business. We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding weekend. Thanks Bill and Julia!!
