We LOVE The Bristol and Festivities Catering!!!
Everything was exactly perfect! The Ceremony and Reception were absolutely beautiful! The 2nd floor loft for Cocktail hour was perfect. Every single one of my guests had a wonderful time!
Some highlights:
Ashley Cecaci is marvelous! We hired her to be our day of coordinator. Best decision we made. She was perfect! She memorized all of our families names, first of all. She kept both of us informed thrughout the day of how things were going as the space was transformed. She notified us of last minute changes and when the vendors arrived. Extremely professional, but I felt like she was a friend a part of the party! I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
The food was delicious! Our guests RAVED about ALL the food. I was a little bummed that the food wasn't completely ready on time and this delayed the kids and vegetarians getting their meals, but overall, the food was spectacular. Even better than the tasting months before!
The ceiling opening up was breath taking! All our guests were in awe as the ceiling opened during our first dance. That was definitely a memorable moment for us and our quests.

The First Avenue restaurant is also amazing and delicious!

I have NOTHING negative to say about our event.

We worked with Katie at Festivities for our wedding at the Scripps Seaside Forum. They were so helpful in making our wedding day amazing. From the tray passed hors d'oeuvres to the entree, our food was exquisite. Their service was exactly what we needed for one of the most important days of our lives. They even helped us find the best vendors in town...from photographers, to florist.

Absolutely delicious food. Staff was responsive throughout the planning process.
Pricey, yes, but worth it.

We had our reception in the Starlight Ballroom at the Bristol San Diego. Lisa Knoer was a delight to work with: everyone was very flexible with our requests (work with budget, deliver special meal to father of the bride, etc) and worked hard to get every detail right. The best part of the evening was, of course, the retractable roof that opened during our first dance as husband and wife. It was a showstopper, and our friends still bring it up three years later!
