I wish I could give Mayra 1000 stars. I got married at Scripps Seaside Forum on 9/4/22 and her gorgeous flower arrangements turned it into a fairytale wedding. The arch was absolutely stunning. The petal design she created was incredibly beautiful. She truly brought my vision to life. Mayra worked with me every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how I imagined it! This past weekend was incredibly hot but the flowers stayed fresh and beautiful!! My guests can't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were! I am so incredibly happy I decided to use Mayra, it was the best decision I have ever made!

We were fortunate to have a lot of wonderful vendors for our wedding, however Mayra from the Singing Florist was our absolute favorite of them all! We live in Hawaii but were having our wedding in San Diego to accommodate our families who live on the mainland so we wanted a ton of Hawaiian touches, especially a lot of colorful tropical flowers. We knew that our florist was going to be one of the most important vendors to us. We met with several other florists in the area, and while they all had great ideas and beautiful work, Mayra showed great enthusiasm, had extremely reasonable prices, and she was very organized. We clicked with her right away, she is such a sweetheart and you can tell that this isn't just a job for her, this is a passion! She has such a natural talent for picking out flowers that look great together. She has used tropical flowers before but had never done a 100% tropical wedding. She was so excited to put it all together though, you'd think she actually lived in Hawaii with how amazing all her arrangements were. I couldn't believe it when I saw my bouquet, it was giant! But I'm tall and it just worked. She got every single detail perfectly from the color ribbon around the bouquets to the types of flowers in the corsages. We had every type of arrangement you could imagine, tall centerpieces, flowers all over the arch (which she rented to us), pedestals with huge arrangements (she also rented those to us), tiki torches filled with flowers, a swirl petal design down the aisle, a cascade of flowers on our cake, etc. I wish I could post pictures on here because they were so breathtaking. It has been 3 months since our wedding and people are still talking about how it was the most colorful and beautiful wedding they've ever been to!

The most amazing part: the day of our wedding she was actually on crutches and with her team and family she gave us the perfect wedding! She truly is an amazing florist!

I had the pleasure of working with Mayra from The Singing Florist as she was listed as the preferred vendor for the Chula Vista Golf Course. She arranged all the flowers for our wedding earlier this month.

Mayra was just amazing to work with. Her professionalism shined through and she really caters to her customers. All the guests at the wedding complimented so much about our flower arrangements and were fighting to claim the center pieces to take it home.

What I also love about Mayra is that she doesn't just cater to any one population. She really just cares about people. She is very open minded and also serves the LGBT community.

Mayra is AMAZING! The flowers were all gorgeous and were exactly how we imagined them to be. She showed up on time and got our entire wedding crew set up (they all loved her too), then moved on to the venue and set everything there up beautifully. She is so easy to work with, understands what you're visualizing, and her prices are very economical. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Mayra made my centerpieces and they were so lovely. Even though my wedding was a month ago, the calla lilies that she used are still in great shape. Her prices were amazing and she was flexible enough so that I can provide the vases and she arranged the centerpieces the morning of the wedding.
She was also my day of coordinator and she did a good job. There were a couple changes that we went over during our meetings but that was something forgot to update. Maybe she lost her notes, but I had to go over things again the day before the wedding rehearsal.

Mayra has great prices but she charges a lot of delivery and does not stay until the end to move your ceremony flowers to the reception area like she promises. :( Other than that, she is very sweet and wants to do what she can to make you happy.
