We are a couple that loves planning events, but we found ourselves in need of a day-of coordinator.

The moment we started talking to Alexa we realized she is the perfect person for the job. She knew all the questions to ask, down to the littlest details we wouldn’t have thought of.

Alexa makes you forget how stressful planning a wedding can be, because she is there for you with advice, guidance, and simple reassurance. She comes fully prepared to every meeting, is super responsive (even at late hours), double and triple checks to make sure everything will be on schedule. She coordinated with all our vendors and put together the most detailed timeline for our big day.

It was the first time that Alexa coordinated an Indian wedding, and she went the extra mile to learn all the steps involved in the ceremony.

What we appreciated the most it was her way of getting things done: in a supportive way. Not bossy, not controlling. We were still in charge of planning our wedding, she just added that extra guidance and support we didn’t know we needed.

Even after all our guests had left, Alexa was still running around with her clipboard, making sure the venue is left in order. :)

When we got engaged, we had about nine months to plan our wedding at Ole Hanson Beach Club, and if I’m being honest, I was overwhelmed from the very beginning. The first month was consumed with securing our venue, and once that was done, reality hit—there were a thousand moving pieces, decisions to make, and no clear roadmap. Finding the right planner felt like one of the most important decisions we would make.

We met Alexa in August, and from our very first conversation, something shifted.

The colors, the atmosphere, the emotion of the entire day… it felt like stepping into something we had dreamed of but didn’t quite know how to create.

About a month before the wedding, we ran into some stressful situations with our DJ and catering. Communication was lacking, timelines felt uncertain, and we started to feel that panic creep in. Without hesitation, Alexa stepped in. She advocated for us, communicated directly with vendors, and ensured that our concerns were not only heard—but addressed. She didn’t just “assist”—she took ownership in a way that made us feel completely protected. In moments where we felt unsure, she became our calm.

That level of advocacy is something I will never forget.

From a logistics standpoint, everything was seamless. Timelines were not only met—they were often ahead. Vendor coordination, contracts, communication—it all felt handled with precision. I never once felt like something was slipping through the cracks.

And then came wedding week.

Instead of stress, what I felt was support. Excitement. Confidence.

Alexa and her team had everything so well organized that we were able to fully step into the experience. They took so much off our plate that we could actually *enjoy* the lead-up to our wedding, instead of feeling buried in last-minute details. The rehearsal flowed effortlessly. Every question was answered before we even had to ask it.

By the time the wedding day arrived, something incredible happened—I was completely present.

I wasn’t worried about timelines. I wasn’t thinking about vendors. I wasn’t managing people or logistics. I was living in every moment, fully, deeply, and without distraction. And that is because Alexa and her team were handling everything behind the scenes with what I can only describe as quiet excellence.

There was even a moment where a makeup artist for touch-ups didn’t show, and before I could even process it, Alexa had already solved it. To this day, I don’t even know how she pulled that off—but she did. And she did it without ever letting it impact my experience.

What stood out just as much as the logistics was how they protected our day.

Weddings come with a lot of personalities, emotions, and moving dynamics. I later learned that Alexa and her team navigated situations behind the scenes that could have easily disrupted the day—but they didn’t let that happen. They kept the focus exactly where it belonged: on us. On our experience. On our joy.

At one point, I remember thinking—not just once, but over and over again—*I am so glad we hired them.*

Our guests felt it too. My bridesmaids told me it was one of the most organized, seamless weddings they had ever been part of. Everything flowed. Everything felt intentional. And yet, none of it felt rigid—it felt natural, effortless, and full of heart.

One of my favorite memories will always be those final moments leading up to our first look. The energy they created, the calm they held, the excitement they shared with us—it set the tone for everything that followed.

From start to finish, I trusted them completely.

And that trust gave us the greatest gift of all—the ability to fully experience our wedding day, exactly as we had hoped.

Working with Alexa and her team was truly one of our favorite parts of planning our wedding! Pretty Palm Leaf Events put together the wedding of our dreams. They are so professional and thought of every single detail before the wedding, during and after. I was struggling to find a wedding coordinator that was a right fit for my wedding. I interviewed a few people and although they were great-they just weren't what I was looking for. I found out about the pretty palm leaf through my maid of honor. My MOH sent me their website and that is when I submitted my inquiry. Alexa reached back out to me almost immediately! I remember thinking, "ooh I like this." We set up a time to chat over the phone to go over my vision. I remember thinking how impressed I was after our phone conversation and hired Alexa and her team for our wedding day coordinator. I hired Alexa to help coordinate my wedding and oversee the day of flow. Alexa became so much more than my wedding day coordinator to me. Alexa became my FRIEND, advocate, teammate and my voice when I was so overwhelmed and couldn't speak up. Alexa was thoroughly organized. During our meetings she would remind of things that I told myself a hundred times that I would never forget. Alexa kept the lines of communication completely open throughout the entire planning process. I would text her with wedding ideas and inspo. She would always be so excited to see my vision and text/email me back promptly! The day of our wedding Alexa exceeded our expectations. As she perfected the last-minute details, Alexa checked on me throughout the day. On our wedding day, every time I looked at Alexa she was looking at me smiling. Like she was anticipating my next thought, need or want. Like she was ready to jump in and help with ANYTHING. And she did. Alexa stayed multiple steps ahead of me and I never had to ask for anything. She always knew what I needed and provided it. I remember I was getting ready to walk to our ceremony site from bridal suite and mentioned how thirsty I was. Then, 2 Seconds there was Alexa passing me a water bottle. Thinking about Alexa and her team makes me tear up because Alexa cares so much about her clients. She makes it more than clear that your happiness is her happiness. And this is the type of love and support that you want and NEED on your big day.

Alexa was my wedding coordinator for my wedding on March 13th, 2022. My planning process wasn't lengthy, we had around 3 months before the wedding when I was Pretty Palm Leaf Event Co. by The Knot.

It was the BEST referral ever!! The 3 months between me finding my amazing wedding coordinator till the day of the wedding, we had to go through some serious hurdles, with the venue with vendors with the unique COI requirements that got thrown our way and so much more. Needless to say, my wedding was 100% DIY since the venue was just rental.

Alexa was on top of everything, she delivered way more than our contract. She helped get through all the issues that were thrown our way and made our dream day come true. Everyone who attended the wedding were amazed at how things turned out and I am positive that wouldn't be the case if it wasn't for Alexa. On the day of the wedding, she had both of her amazing assistants on site and they we equally exceptional. She made sure we got to eat and take breaks throughout the ceremony and coordinated with all the vendors on site to make sure everything went well.

To summarize my experience with Alexa and her team....WOW!! I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with this amazing group! I am the type of bride that had a very rough vision of what I wanted and Alexa was able to take it above and beyond anything I could have dreamed of! The attention to detail, the willingness to take my calls and read my emails and texts at all hours, and to have someone who was genuinely so excited about making our day so special made planning a wedding so much fun. Not to mention we had to navigate the Covid experience together, including 2 rescheduled dates and having 2 toddlers. I really had NOTHING to worry about on my wedding day, Alexa and her team took care of all of it and made the day run so smooth. We had so much fun!.
