I got married at Duck puddle this past September and it was perfect. You can see pictures of my wedding on their Facebook page (my bridesmaids are in mustard yellow). I had my ceremony on one of the lakeside campsites next to the lakehouse, the cocktail hour/reception at the barn and outside surrounding area, and stayed at the lakehouse for 2 nights. Our immedite family and bridal party also stayed in the cabins. Meredith and her staff are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us and make sure everything was perfect. She always had great ideas on how to make things flow more smoothly, and was always so flexible, allowing us to personalize every aspect of our wedding and use whatever space we needed. She made us feel so welcome and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! If you want your wedding experience to be fun and laid back in a beautiful and rustic location, I recommend that you check out Duck Puddle Campground. The deck they built is a fantastic addition to the adorable barn. We had lawn games like cornhole and giant jenga outside on the lawn. Guests also had the option of sitting around the fire pit outside! Not only was I in love with the place, but my guests can't stop talking about it and many have said that it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

RAVE REVIEW
Meredith and Paul, the owners, respond to emails quickly and always have an answe. We were looking for a barn/field wedding. They had never had a wedding in the field before but rather than say no, immediately launched into logistics about making it a reality. About a month before, we came back to stake out the location for our ceremony. Paul handed us a beer and we went for a walking beer tour around the grounds.
We showed up 3 days early to setup. They made cabins available so we could stage everything. They found a PA for us when ours fell through for the band. We didn’t have enough antique books for our centerpieces so Paul ran to his home and grabbed a few more. They even lit fires for us at night. Every time there was a problem either Paul or Meredith found a solution for us before I even had time to panic. We needed chairs brought down the hill from the field. Handled. I wanted wedding fireworks, they even lit them off for us. We wanted to have a lobster boil rehearsal dinner in the pavilion with a bonfire, they helped set it up and even brought out a flamethrower (omg... so cool) to light the thing.
Paul stayed up super late the day of (I swear the guy put in at least 12 hours on our wedding day). We took wedding photos in our canoe and Paul helped us launch it so we didn’t get dirty in our wedding clothes and even killed a water spider for me. No joke, real life superhero here.
Things go wrong at every event. There was a skunk incident by the bunkhouse where one of our friends stayed. Meredith washed our friends clothes and they found a camper for them to stay in the next night within an hour of hearing about it. We didn’t even find out about it until after the problem was resolved and our friends were raving about how great our hosts had handled the situation.
This doesn’t even cover all the big and small things they did for us that weekend. I actually can’t say enough good things! I wish there was more space to write this review.

Our wedding experience at Duck Puddle was one for the books. The whole weekend was above and beyond our expectations. Meredith and Paul went out of their way to make sure everyone involved in our celebration had everything they needed in a timely and friendly manner. The venue is affordable and beautiful. The location offers something for everyone. I would recommend having a wedding here forever and always. I wish we could do it all over again next weekend!!

What an amazing place!!

I can not say enough about our experience with Duck Puddle. The barn was amazing, beautiful and in our price range. Meredith and her family are amazing people! They thought of every detail and were so helpful. They even took the children on a train ride, which was a total surprise to us.
The campground is family and dog friendly, which was very important to us. Our family and friends loved staying here and it was so nice that they didn't have to drive or worry about transportation. They have requested that we all have a reunion at Duck Puddle every year :)

Our wedding at Duck Puddle Campground was more than we could have ever imagined or expected, and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the staff - Merry and Paul went above and beyond and were there every step of the way to answer questions or help make things go over smoothly...they were extremely accommodating and so much fun as well, I can't say enough good things about them and the memories that they helped us create, as well as the venue that we had for the whole weekend. From our rehearsal dinner in the pavilion to the bon fire and use of the propane grill, to the lakeside ceremony and reception in the barn/deck...it really is an incredible setting and there are so many options and different aspects of the venue that make planning a wedding THAT much easier and better. Saying it is a magical spot sounds so cheesy but it really is...not only did we love having our wedding there, but so many of us have talked about going back just to camp...hopefully duck puddle campground will be a part of many more memories to come! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it is hard not to fall in love with...and the owners make it even more hard!

Absolutely the best venue to get married at hands down. We loved every second of our wedding weekend. Paul and Meredith made everything so easy and accommodated us at every turn. The barn is gorgeous and the property has so many options for ceremony sites that no two wedding are the same. The lake house was so ideal and the cabins made it possible for our whole bridal party to stay on site, as well as our family and friends who decided to tent or camp out with us. It was so much better than we expected and wouldn’t change a thing! If you are considering this venue, you will not be disappointed.
