Lake and Wood is a wedding venue in Placerville, California. Our beautiful event space sits at the feet of towering pine trees, overlooking a private 50-acre lake. This serene location is an intimate place to get married, fitting for the artful soul who is a lover of nature and exquisite things.
Host a Lakeside Ceremony
This El Dorado wedding venue offers space for you to host both your ceremony and reception on its carefully manicured grounds. Exchange vows at the edge of the sparkling lake, letting this tranquil body of water add to the breathtaking moment when you say, “I do”. It is also a popular spot for wedding portraits, with the surrounding woodlands providing striking natural backdrops.
Outdoor Wedding Reception
Afterward, join your guests for an outdoor wedding reception and cocktail reception under an elegant white gazebo, which can be adorned with market lighting. This will prove useful as the sun sets on our outdoor wedding venue and you sit down to your long-awaited wedding meal; the lights above casting a romantic glow on the party below. Enjoy the company of up to 200 guests, with plenty of room for a dance floor. Other popular choices include mobile bar experiences and our furry friends from The Drunken Burro.
Elopement Wedding Venue
Lake and Wood is equally beautiful for small weddings such as elopements and micro weddings. Our private estate provides the perfect setting for a ceremony and catered dinner with your nearest and dearest! While the convenient location in Placerville offers plenty of nearby accommodations.
