Planning a wedding is a lot, it was even worse living in post-pandemic world with staffing shortages, reduced hours of operations, food shortages, and the list can just go on forever.... Our first venue we chose, we parted ways. We were forced to start all over again with only a few months before our wedding date- the date we chose with our first venue. And I am so unbelievably grateful we left our first venue, because it led us to the Honeysuckle Tea house.
Having always been a fan of this spot since its inception, I took a chance that they might be doing events, which praise be, they had just started offering this service. I met with Svetlana and her team and instantly, I knew this was the right fit for us. Our experience with the Honeysuckle team was night and day different from what we had previously. They worked tirelessly to respond accordingly (even with their staffing shortages!) and work to resolve any and all issues I was having. I finally felt heard. They understood my stresses and frustrations with trying to navigate the world we all now live in, but they worked with me, on everything. They were very open and honest about the things they could offer me, at what price, and the things they could not. I had an AMAZING TEAM of people that cared as much as I did (and in some instances more lol), that worked endlessly to make our day as perfect as they could.
I cannot speak highly enough about Svetlana and her team. I have made lasting relationships with these people, and they gave me the best gift I could have ever received. A place, for one day, where my husband, myself, and the people we are the closest to in this life could celebrate, be ourselves, and feel at home. The tea house is a gem amongst ordinary stones. If you want a blank canvas to create your day and are willing to work with a team to achieve this goal, then the Tea House is for you.
We have zero regrets. Not a single one. Who can say that about their wedding day location.?
