The Grill From Ipanema's Reception Hall is an inviting, vibrant and warm venue space in Washington, D.C. TGFI (Family and Owned and Operated business). We have been hosting receptions including weddings, rehearsal dinner, social events and corporate meetings since 1992. We are located in a charming neighborhood in the Kalorama Triangle.

Our floor plan is spacious with a touch of sophistication and elegance. We absolutely love what we do, and it is evident in every special moment we create for our couples, whether it is the full-service reception package, event-design decor, catering, rehearsal dinner or just delivering an elegant sweet table for the reception. We thrive on being a part of a day devoted solely to celebrating love and creating unforgettable moments.

Do you need a reliable caterer? If you book your reception in another venue and need a caterer, please know that in the last 24 years, we have catered many receptions (100-450 guests) providing delicious food, outstanding service and unbeatable prices. We have a complete and in good standing COI & liquor license to caterer in any venue in the DMV area.

Additional information in Our Banquet Room:

• Our Private Banquet Hall accommodates groups up to 120 guests for a seated meal event.
• 30 to 200 guests for a cocktail standing reception.
• Banquets packages available for groups of 35 or more.
• Round and rectangular tables, china, glassware, table cloth and napkins are provided.
• Audio visual equipment available upon request (complimentary for package of $5000 or more).
• Full service bars with extensive cocktail menus, wines, and champagne.
