Rachel was our Day-of Coordinator, but to my wife and I, she became our emotional support months leading up to the wedding. She really went above and beyond for us, and did so with an upbeat disposition the entire time. Rachel kept the big day running so smoothly that we were never brought out of the dream-like state of the day. She really understood the decor we were aiming for, and made countless contributions to that goal. You won't regret booking Flowering Fern!

This review is way overdue, but Rachel was so helpful with my mini wedding. I got married back in 2020 and decided to hire a day-of wedding planner last minute after realizing my family who would help with most of the things wouldn't be able to make it due to COVID.

I had my vendors all picked out, but Rachel helped so much with the timeline and getting all the vendors together. She never made me feel rushed, despite the clock ticking down more quickly than I thought.

She really was a one woman team - helping with the timeline, setting up, and even rearranging decor for the different photos we were taking (this was also when receptions were not allowed and the air was smokey - just my luck lol).

One thing that stuck out to me was when we were running behind schedule and I was worrying about making people wait, Rachel told me "you're the bride, you're on time". It was the exact right thing I needed to hear and just double downed on hiring Rachel being one of the best decisions for my wedding.

We hired Rachel with The Flowering Fern to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding. She was so responsive, supportive, and flexible throughout the whole process. Our original wedding date was postponed from July 2020 to July 2021 and she was so great about doing periodic check-ins even during that time. She is so organized and really understood our vision for our wedding day, she had great suggestions and really made things stress-free. She is so professional and she worked really well with our other vendors. She goes above and beyond for her clients and we really enjoyed working with her. Rachel is an absolute gem, would highly recommend her wedding services!

Our daughters' wedding was scheduled for July 2020. When it was apparent that would not happen, Rachel took it upon herself to call my daughter to assist with rescheduling for 2021. Originally she was going to be day of coordinator only. Everything became progressively more stressful and thankfully, Rachel was available to do planning also. I can't overstate how much Rachel helped us. A family member was doing floral from out of state and Rachel did a long zoom walk through of the venue with the floral designer and was available every time my daughter or vendors needed some assistance before, during and after the wedding. Every step of the way, no matter what calamity arose, Rachel handled it with grace, kindness and humor. The wedding was beautiful and everyone had a wonderful time. One couple at the wedding were so impressed they had Rachel do their wedding too! Rachel's talent, skill and professionalism are beyond reproach.

I met Rachel at my friend's wedding where she did day of coordination. I was so impressed that I asked her to do my wedding as well. Rachel was amazing throughout the entire process. She made every effort to make our day run smoothly and let us just enjoy the wedding. Truly worth every penny!!!!

Rachel was everything I could have hoped for and more! She well exceeded my expectation. She is so kind, creative and hard working. I couldn’t recommend her enough. We went through the ringer with having a pandemic wedding. She was flexible and knowledgeable. I am so thankful for Rachel at the Flowering Fern! She was also very helpful with our canine flower girl.

Rachel put in the effort to really get to know my husband and me. We felt as though we were having a very close friend help us. She definitely "got" us. She was there every step of the way with her guidance and responsiveness.

I was blown away at her facilitation of our wedding day. She was there for the two of us, assertive but kind with our vendors and wedding party. She was really everything we needed so we could let go of any worries. I don't know what we would have done without her, particularly on the wedding day. It helped that she had overseen the facilitation leading up to it so she was well equipped to handle everything on our day, without guidance.

Additionally, Rachel is an absolute delight as a human being! I would recommend her to anyone!

Rachel is the bomb! We thoroughly enjoyed her being on our team and helping make the day delightful without hiccups. She loves and cares deeply about her work and clients and it shows. With our wedding in the midst of COVID, she adapted quickly to new guidelines and maintained her distance and mask wearing. Would hire her again in a second!

I worked with Rachel at the Pickering Barn, she's the coordinator for the wedding that I helped book and coordinate and I ended up working at the actual event. She's the best coordinator I've ever seen and worked with in my facility. She's very professional, hands-on, courteous, and she's not afraid to roll up her sleeves and help out in every way. I saw her bussing tables, she moved tables for a "layout flip," she was available at all times. Also, she offered the staff some food as a thank you and that's something I've only experienced a handful of times, and that really sealed the deal for me. What an amazing coordinator! Hire her, you will be very happy you did!

Besides me and I husband just about everyone was coming from out of town and I wanted everyone to be able to relax and enjoy their time, with Rachel’s help throughout the whole day it was just that! No one had to think what was next or worry about the timing of the day. Also she had everything you don’t think you will need and works well and has great communicates with vendors. We could not have chosen a better person to help us on our day! Thank you Rachel!
