The Flower Fields are more than just beautiful fields of color; they provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding, corporate gathering or other special events. Our Paul Ecke, Jr. Barn nestled among the flowers can accommodate up to 200 guests in a venue that offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. March through May are the most spectacular months for an event because the ranunculus flowers are in bloom. However, the barn venue and gardens at The Flower Fields are open throughout the year (January- December) to accommodate you for your wedding.
The Flower Fields provide the beautiful barn and garden space, while you provide the food, drinks, music, décor and fun! This allows you to create the wedding of your dreams.

Stunning and Affordable
I loved how well the everything flowed in this space, and how beautiful and truly stunning the venue was. There wasn't a lot needed to create a magical wedding because it was all provided there. The staff was great as well and their flexibility really took a lot of stress off. There are costs tied into the final price (i.e. coordinator, bartender, security, event insurance) but still a stunning space for the price.Sent on 10/18/2018

I loved my wedding venue. It was the perfect blend of a slightly rustic look (can't find many rustic venues in San Diego) with the beauty of Carlsbad and ultimate privacy (in off season weddings). I was able to get access to the venue all day Friday, all day Saturday and a few hours on Sunday for set up, decorating and take down. Jonie also allowed me to go into the barn on Thursday. It was gorgeous and the people were easy to work with. You're able to bring in any vendors you want as long as they can meet the Flower Fields' insurance liability standards. Only downside I could say was the venue doesn't offer round tables/chairs only picnic style rectangular tables with attached benches. It does cost more when the flowers are in bloom and it's not quite as private. I did my wedding in the off season and thought it was just as pretty.Sent on 09/13/2014

Beautiful venue!!! By renting the venue you can use a large barn and an outdoor area for the reception. The flower fields are open to the public until 6pm, so we had random people right next to our ceremony site. It would have been nice if the area that we had our ceremony could have been blocked off from tourists. It was $5,000 to rent the property. Every single vendor that you use has to provide insurance with like 5 flower field entities listed, a huge pain in the weeks leading up to the wedding but everything worked out!Sent on 05/02/2013
