If I could give EBS 10000 stars, it still wouldn’t be enough to capture how amazing they were at our wedding.

From the very beginning of the process, Fil was super easy to work with and brought so much energy and excitement to the call. He was also so great to work with the weeks leading up to our wedding and helped put together an awesome setlist. They even learned 3 completely new songs that we requested and crushed it!

We had Fil play an acoustic set during cocktail hour, which was incredible and kicked off the celebrations perfectly. Their performance during our reception was more than we could have ever imagined. They brought SO MUCH ENERGY all night and kept the dance floor packed. Seriously… no one left the dance floor all night. The setlist was a perfect combination of classic wedding hits and newer songs like Pink Pony Club that got the party going. During their encore, they absolutely shredded Zombie by The Cranberries and it was truly the most memorable part of our wedding. Both singers got up on to a table and were jamming out with the crowd, it truly felt like we were at our own private concert.

All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the band was and we would pick EBS 10 times out of 10.

Our wedding venue was also on a small private island with no electricity that you had to get on by water taxi, and they didn’t even bat an eye about logistics! They brought everything they needed, worked with our wedding coordinators to lock in logistics and we didn’t have to worry for a second about their set up.

We would highly recommend EBS for any event and feel so fortunate that we found them for our wedding!

Fil was worth every penny! He played acoustic guitar for cocktail hour and dinner, and DJ’d for the dancing portion of our wedding. His vocal range and musical talents are incredible. He truly left nothing to be desired and our guests were blown away with his ability to make each song his own. I am SO happy with our decision and will be recommending Fil and EBS to family and friends for future events, weddings or to check out at local gigs. You will not be disappointed.

If they are available, hire this band!! Just a couple songs into EBS’s set at our wedding, people were already asking where we found them and saying “this is the best wedding band I’ve ever heard”. They rocked! Everyone was up and dancing for hours. We went with the 6-piece band that included Anthony - wow was that the right choice. Anthony plays saxophone, keyboard, flute, auxiliary percussion, and more, which impressed everyone and got us even more hyped. However, if your budget is tighter you can get the 5 piece band. They were quick to agree to play every song we asked them to play for the first/parent dances and processional songs at the ceremony. The cocktail hour piano was the perfect soundtrack - they also offered acoustic guitar. Fil did introductions and announcements in a fun way (but not too cheesy) and made sure he pronounced all names correctly. The audio support - mic’ing up the officiant, processional songs during the ceremony, mic’ing up people who spoke at the ceremony or gave toasts - was flawless. We didn’t have to worry about any of that stuff. The communication with Fil could not have been better. He answered every question we asked with kindness and optimism, and we asked a lot. They shared a worksheet that showed us everything we needed to decide. Hire them! Worth every penny.

EBS was AMAZING at our wedding!! They were extremely easy to work with and our guests had an absolute blast! Fil was very professional and organized, and helped us throughout the whole process of selecting music. They truly know how to keep the crowd engaged, our dance floor was packed the whole night! If you're considering a wedding band, look no further than The Emergency Broadcast System! Fil and his band were incredible every step of the way. They were so easy to work with—responsive, super accommodating, and dedicated to helping us curate the perfect set list for each part of our wedding: from the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour, to the reception. They truly captured our vibe and made each moment feel unique and special.

Fil and his band are not only talented musicians but also amazing MCs. They helped us pull off the best dance floor opening ever, making a fun and complex drinking game easy to play with all 150 guests. His energy was infectious, and he got everyone out on the dance floor right from the start. And it wasn’t just the younger crowd—everyone of all ages danced the night away!

The vocals and musical talent were out of this world, and the lighting added a stunning ambiance. The energy was electric from start to finish, including an unforgettable dance floor closer that left everyone buzzing. I honestly feel bad it took me so long to write this review, but we’ve been flooded with calls from friends and family telling us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to.

If you want your wedding to be unforgettable, hire them, hire them, hire them!

The Emergency Broadcast System provided an outstanding performance at a dinner-dance party that I hosted last July for fifty family members and friends in Chatham on Cape Cod. The Band provided a wide selection of popular dance songs, some from their current repertoire and others that my family and I specially asked to be included. The band's manager was highly collaborative in scheduling a mutually convenient date for me and the band. Moreover the six-member band played extremely well, offering a performance that greatly contributed to the success of my party.

We had the pleasure of having Fil as our wedding singer, and he truly exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish, Fil was incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Our wedding took place outdoors on Nantucket, which presented some logistical challenges, but Fil handled everything seamlessly. He communicated with us, and directly with the venue to ensure everything was in place.

He performed beautifully during our ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance, and dinner. The sound quality and vocals were absolutely perfect, even in the outdoor setting. His performance set the perfect tone for each part of the evening, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how fantastic the music was.

If you're looking for a talented, professional, and reliable wedding singer, we highly recommend Fil! He put on an excellent show and helped make our day unforgettable.

The EBS Band is 11/10! Booking and securing them for our wedding day was literally on the top of our "to do" list. We actually even made sure they were available before we even found out venue. Their electric energy, talent and professionalism was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so receptive to any special requests we had. We had a very unique line up of things to ask of them. For example, a pre recorded speech from my father, a picture slideshow, mother daughter dance, a few special family requests, and a live last dance for my husband and I that the band actually learned specifically for our special moment. Fil learned the song for us at my surprise engagement and it was beyond special to us. The tunes kept flowing all night and the dance floor was constantly full of people litereally having the time of their lives. We cannot thank EBS enough for their appearance and dedication to our wedding. I know people will remember our wedding and the fabulous music we got to jam to!

Whether you are planning something local, or doing a destination wedding like us, I could not recommend Fil enough. He is so easy to work with, extremely responsive and just an all around great guy!

We had seen Fil perform at a few breweries in the area and were blown away by his talent. We were planning our wedding in the Virgin Islands and hadn't booked a performer yet so we approached Fil after one of his sets and asked if he had ever done a destination wedding - to our surprise he had not but was totally on board with the idea. Fast forward to March 2024 where he put on an amazing performance for us on the beautiful island of St. John, USVI. All of our family and friends commented about how incredible he was, the staff at the restaurant and our photographers were blown away by him, and he absolutely nailed all the additional requests that we had him learn to make our perfect day even better.
