The Pulse of Boston

The Pulse totally rocked our wedding! They were professional but more importantly, they were a blast! We dance all night long and even added an extra half hour because we could not get enough. They have amazing energy, great song choice, and a ton of talent! Paul, the manager, did an amazing job of checking in with us as the night went on to make sure we were happy and that we were hearing what we wanted to hear. The bottom line: from the very beginning to the very end, the Pulse had everyone on the dance floor and our guests could not stop talking about how much fun they had.

Pulse of Boston was incredible! They brought amazing energy and kept our wedding guests on the dance floor the entire night playing awesome hit songs and considered our song suggestions as well. We got so many compliments from guests about how amazing the band was after our wedding, and we couldn't recommend them enough!!! Paul is a great coordinator as well and the whole team is super professional.

Absolute BEST entertainment I've ever seen at a wedding (and was told the same thing by everyone!!!)! They kept the whole dance floor packed the entire night. The song selection was fantastic and they made the entire party! I've already had a ton of guests contact me for the name of the band in hopes of booking them! I cannot thank the band enough for making my wedding day the greatest party I have ever been to!

A friend referred me. I was hesitant to hire The Pulse of Boston since several of my friends are DJ's. I really wanted the feel that a live band gives. I saw them perform at a Cathay Pacific in Quincy. I was sold! The band had great energy. They played a variety of songs. I had several songs I wanted played at my wedding. I discussed this with the band leader Paul, and he reassured me I have nothing to worry about. My wedding day was a dream come true. The band played every song I requested perfectly! All of the guests was dancing, from children to older people. The energy of the band was phenomenal. The lights were great too. There are two female vocalists who should be on American Idol..they were unbelievably talented with a vocal range through the roof. The male singer sang classic Latin tunes and created a tropical feel to the night. I highly recommend this band for a wedding or any event!

This is the most exciting band! They have the ability to play classical, jazz and most important to me, hot dancing music. They had everyone on the dance floor for hours. The singers (there were 2 females and a great male) were amazing. They are professional, handled every detail, knew tons of songs and literally made our wedding unforgettable. They are worth the price and you feel such energy and excitement from their performance. I have seen them also perform in downtown Boston (Boston Harbor Hotel) and they are great in any venue. Hire this band, you won't be disappointed!

If you want to have the best band in town, then you NEED to hire these guys. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

The Pulse had every single person (friends, older relatives and the 1 kid we had at the wedding) dancing all night. They started off right after our first dance and had people on the floor immediately.

They play everything under the sun and will learn songs for you which I think is wonderful. My dad and I danced to a Beattles song that they did not know. They learned it in a week and killed it.

Not only are they great muscians, they are great business people. Paul was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive. Answered his phone, responded to messages and was very helpful and patient when we were picking songs.

My biggest piece of advice to brides. These guys know what they are doing. Tell them the type of music that you like and let them run with it. Don't micromanage the playlist - let them read the crowd and go. Pick your songs that you dance to and the last song, but other than that. Trust them. They are awesome.

In terms of value - bands are a little pricer, but these guys are well worth it. They were in the middle range of the bands that we looked at and I think they were a HUGE value considering how good they are.

This one is a no brainer. If they are not booked for your wedding. Book them now. Add on the horns. It is worth every cent.

We LOVE these guys! Everyone was saying "They're the best band we've ever heard!" Now, it seems like a lot of people say that to be polite, but they really WERE. In a room full of 200 guests, NO ONE was sitting, and I have the footage to prove it! Awesome guys we've run into in the last few weeks since we've been married and we shook their hands, snapped some photos and thanked them. Go see them at the floating Blues Barge behind the Boston Harbor Hotel for a preview. Amazing, love you guys!

These guys MADE our wedding. It was incredible. They have so much energy, and are such incredible musicians. Plan you're wedding around having the pulse of boston, because they guarantee fun.

This is the best band!!! We saw them at a friends wedding in Maine and loved them. The are such a fun and lively band. The guests from our wedding keep telling us that they have never danced so much at a wedding...definitely book this band if you are in the Boston area...but i think they travel too!

The most fun, dynamic, entertaining band ever. We could get around to any tables to talk to people because everyone was dancing all night. I have never seen so many people up and dancing from beginning to end at a wedding. It was a blast. I only wish I had another occasion to hire them for. Not to mention they were VERY reasonable on price.
