The Davis Nature Pavilion is a park and outdoor wedding venue located outside of Grand Rapids in Lansing, Michigan. This venue, situated within the Fenner Nature Center, is surrounded by 134 acres of rolling glacial esker. It is the perfect location for couples who want to be connected to the breathtaking beauty of nature to tie the knot.

Facilities and Capacity

The Davis Nature Pavilion has several indoor and outdoor spots where you can host your ceremony and reception. The Outdoor Chapel offers an intimate ceremony setting and beautiful views of 19 acres of grassland. You and your partner can also say your vows in The Maple Grove Pavilion. This small structure is nestled within a grotto of towering maples, which create a natural aisle for you to walk down. The site comes with a covered area and picnic benches where your guests can sit. Receptions are held within the Pavilion, which features French doors, vaulted ceilings, and 270-degree views of the landscape. Dinner and dancing can also be accommodated in the Group Campground. This large, open field will provide a secluded and serene atmosphere for your celebration.

Services Offered

Couples who wed at The Davis Nature Pavilion can choose between the basic and all-inclusive wedding packages. The more comprehensive of these comes with use of the outdoor chapel and pavilion for rehearsals, photography sessions, and the big day. It also includes a sweetheart bench, two arches, an AV system, reserved parking for the newlyweds, 9am set-up, and a staff person onsite. Add-ons such as hand-painted signs, chalkboards, signage, log slices, glass jars, and shepherd hooks are also available.
