Camp Newaygo is a wedding and events venue located in Newaygo, Michigan. This camp is a year-round retreat facility that offers summer programs, rentals, community events, family programs, and event space for special occasions. Their all-girls resident camp was founded in 1926 and sits on 104 acres of beautiful land, which remains intact today. The venue is conveniently located 45 minutes from Grand Rapids and Muskegon for all loved ones arriving for the occasion.

Facilities and Capacity

Celebrate your ceremony and reception in style in the venue's modern and natural settings. Enjoy an indoor soiree at Peggie Stone Center, featuring an antique fireplace and views of Lake Pickerel. This area is ideal for intimate gatherings and can accommodate up to 50 guests. Lang Lodge is a beautiful reception space that features wooden floors, a fieldstone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and elevator access to the Ridge Patio and hosts 280 guests. Camp Newaygo also has several outdoor ceremony venues to choose from. Walden Chapel features wooden benches set into the hillside on the shores of Lake Pickerel. Walk down a forested trail and arrive at the bottom of their Waterfront Stairs to make the most of this stunning space. The Ridge Patio is situated at the top of Waterfront Stairs and is off Lang Lodge. The patio overlooks the lake and can accommodate 300 guests for a lavish celebration. The venue also boasts several areas around the camp for intimate ceremonies, including near the lake or wetlands and in their forested areas.

The rental of the Peggie Stone Center includes your choice of outdoor ceremony venues, tables, chairs, linens, china, and silverware. The rental of the Lang Lodge also features tables and chairs, private wedding suites, round linens, a facility attendant, and more. Additional rental items include an outdoor fire, chair covers, woodcut slabs for centerpieces, and a metal ceremony arbor. Camp Newaygo also has lodging available to accommodate overnight guests.

Catering is provided exclusively through Ridge Specialties. They offer on-site and off-site catering for all your wedding event needs. They are a full-service catering business that makes homemade dishes and offers beverages and snack options. An executive chef works with you to create a personalized menu for your night or weekend celebrations, where proceeds benefit the camp's youth and community programs. They offer plated meals, stations, and buffet options for your wedding reception and events. They also provide appetizers for your cocktail reception and desserts.
